Hailey Van Lith's ‘Miserable' Behavior At WNBA Draft is Turning Heads
Although it wasn't the desired ending to the 2024-25 college basketball season for Hailey Van Lith, she still led TCU to its first Elite Eight in program history. On Monday, Van Lith found her third home in three years, selected by the Chicago Sky with the No. 11 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Advertisement The 23-year-old joins her former LSU teammate Angel Reese in Chicago, along with No. 10 pick Ajsa Sivka out of Slovenia. Ahead of the draft, all the players invited to New York City visited the top of the Empire State Building. During a group photo session, the stars gathered for a great shot, most of them smiling. However, Van Lith was the only one with a visible frown, one that a host of ESPN's "SportsCenter" called "miserable." "I've never seen someone as miserable and as downtrodden at the Empire State Building as Hailey Van Lith," the host said.
