Although it wasn't the desired ending to the 2024-25 college basketball season for Hailey Van Lith, she still led TCU to its first Elite Eight in program history.
On Monday, Van Lith found her third home in three years, selected by the Chicago Sky with the No. 11 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

Ahead of the draft, all the players invited to New York City visited the top of the Empire State Building. During a group photo session, the stars gathered for a great shot, most of them smiling.
However, Van Lith was the only one with a visible frown, one that a host of ESPN's "SportsCenter" called "miserable."
"I've never seen someone as miserable and as downtrodden at the Empire State Building as Hailey Van Lith," the host said.
Van Lith's frustrating look stood out to many WNBA fans, leaving their comments on the above viral TikTok post, which received 2.6 million views at the time of this article.

During Monday's draft, Van Lith revealed she didn't recall the moment on ESPN's "WNBA Countdown."
"I don't even remember doing that, so that's a red flag," Van Lith shared. "I don't know. I have no idea."
Van Lith will continue her WNBA journey on April 28th, when the Sky open up training camp. She could potentially make her debut on May 17, when Chicago travels to Indiana.
