Bahrain Honours German Envoy
TDT | Manama Bahrain's farewell to His Excellency German Ambassador Clemens Hach took on a deeply traditional tone as the Ajoor Family Council presented him with a ceremonial bisht, symbolising honour and respect. His spouse, Valerie Hach, received a Thobe Al-Nashal, echoing Bahrain's cultural heritage and hospitality. The formal luncheon, hosted by Mr. Ahmed Ajoor, Mr. Nabeel Ajoor, and Mr. Tareq Ajoor, brought together senior diplomats, dignitaries, and members of Bahrain's business and civic community to mark the ambassador's departure and celebrate the strong ties between the two nations. Symbolic recognition In a heartfelt address, Mr. Nabeel Ajoor praised Ambassador Hach's 'outstanding efforts in enhancing bilateral relations and promoting meaningful cooperation,' highlighting his contribution to strengthening cultural and diplomatic engagement during his tenure. Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, and His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were among the notable figures present. Diplomatic presence Also attending were representatives from the German Embassy, board members of the Bahrain Businessmen's Association and the Bahrain Businesswomen's Society, and a distinguished group of invited guests. Remarks were delivered by H.E. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador Hach, Dr. Fatema Abduljabbar Alkooheji, Chairperson of the Bahrain Businesswomen's Society, and Mr. Ahmed bin Hindi, Chairman of the Bahrain Businessmen's Association. Bahrain and Germany Celebrate Flourishing Ties as German Envoy Bids Farewell
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, reaffirmed the strength and continuous growth of Bahraini-German relations, describing them as a reflection of a deep-rooted partnership built on mutual cooperation and shared aspirations. During a farewell meeting held at Riffa Palace today, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister met with H.E. Mr. Clemens Augustinus Hach, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, whose diplomatic mission in the Kingdom has come to an end. Also present at the meeting was H.E. Mr. Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs. HRH Prince Salman praised Ambassador Hach's dedicated efforts in expanding bilateral cooperation across various fields, emphasizing Bahrain's commitment to exploring broader horizons in its partnership with Germany. He conveyed his appreciation to the ambassador for his role in fostering closer ties and wished him success in his future endeavors. The two sides also discussed recent developments on both regional and international levels, exchanging views on key global matters of mutual interest. The spirit of Ramadan was brought to life at Alia Autism Centre as children, families, and dignitaries came together for a meaningful Gergaoon celebration, highlighting the importance of community support and awareness for autism. The event was graced by German Ambassador H.E. Clemens Hach and his embassy team, who expressed their joy in sharing this special occasion with the children. 'It is truly a heartwarming moment to celebrate with these incredible kids and support the center's mission,' Ambassador Hach said. Currently, the center provides care and intervention for 160 individuals, ranging from ages six to 45. Khalid Alawadhi, Public Relations Officer at the center, emphasized the significance of community contributions, especially during the holy month. 'We have a cafE that provides sweets during Ramadan, and people can support the center by reaching out through our official channels,' he said.
