Look inside town pub that has reopened after refurbishment
A town pub has reopened with a new outdoor area and pool table after closing for six weeks for a revamp.
The Half Moon pub in Kingsway, Mildenhall, has reopened after joining the Hive Pub franchise, which is operated by Greene King.
Francis Bloom, franchisee at the Half Moon, said: "The Half Moon pub has undergone significant refurbishment over the last few weeks, giving the much-loved pub a brand-new look and feel ahead of its reopening as a Hive Pub franchise on June 26.
"We look forward to welcoming customers back following our official relaunch to experience all the pub has to offer."
There is new outdoor seating at the pub. (Image: Half Moon) There is new outdoor seating that has both covered and uncovered areas for people to enjoy the sun.
The Half Moon will also have an updated sports area, with a pool table, darts and TV screens showing the latest live sports fixtures.
The inside of the pub has also had significant work done. (Image: Half Moon) It reopened last week after plans were approved for the work at the end of last year.
There has also been significant changes to the bar and indoor seating area, with a new tiled floor, panelling and lighting to create an inviting environment.
