"Fore Real" - A Golf-Centric New Prank Show Tees Off at the Intersection of Golf, Comedy, and Culture on YouTube August 26
Created by Better Content Co. in partnership with Pro Shop Studios, Fore Real blends viral stunts with heartfelt humor and hidden-camera chaos to surprise unsuspecting golfers. LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- A brand-new comedy series is teeing off this summer with the debut of Fore Real, a prank show that merges the worlds of golf, comedy, and cultural chaos. Created by golf personality and producer Hally Leadbetter, veteran prank director Nick Kreiss, and seasoned comedy executive producer Andrew Wantuck, Fore Real is produced by Better Content Co. in partnership with Pro Shop Studios and premieres with the first episode on YouTube August 26 with more to follow in the future. Fore Real brings an inventive twist to the hidden-camera genre, capturing the spirit of golf through elaborate pranks pulled on unsuspecting golfers. In each episode, Leadbetter sets the tone for the prank-filled episode ahead, identifying targets and setting up hilarious hijinks designed to push the boundaries of believability. Hidden cameras, immersive actors, and perfectly absurd setups converge to create moments that are as funny as they are unforgettable. 'Fore Real is everything I love about golf - but flipped on its head,' said Hally Leadbetter, Creator and Host of Fore Real. 'It's about fun, surprise, and not taking ourselves too seriously. We created this show to celebrate the culture of the game and the people who make it great with a few wild twists along the way. I think golfers and non-golfers alike are going to love it.' The show's creators bring a rare combination of talent and experience to the table. Leadbetter is known across the golf world for her viral, heartfelt, and humorous content that blends tradition with originality. Kreiss is one of the most notable prank producers working today, with credits that include Punk'd, Jackass, The Eric Andre Show, The Prank Panel, and Bad Trip. Wantuck brings 15 years of experience crafting sharp, story-driven content across comedy and sports, with credits including Tosh.0, The Jim Jefferies Show, and the docu-series Uncommon: Building a Boston Sports Team. Pro Shop Studios, the entertainment division of Pro Shop, joins the project as a key creative partner, bringing Fore Real to life with their distinctive blend of storytelling and innovation at the intersection of golf and culture. The launch of Fore Real closely follows the studio's partnership with Happy Madison Productions for the highly anticipated premiere of Happy Gilmore 2 on July 25, which marked Adam Sandler's return to his iconic role nearly 30 years later. Happy Gilmore 2 teed off as Netflix's biggest film premiere ever, driving in over 47 million views in just three days. 'At Pro Shop, we love pushing the boundaries of what golf content can be, and teaming up with Hally Leadbetter and the team at Better Content Co. has been the perfect creative match,' said Chad Mumm, Co-Founder and President of Pro Shop. 'Fore Real has been one of the most fun projects we've developed at Pro Shop Studios, and we couldn't be more excited to keep building this hilarious and original concept together for fans of golf and prank shows alike to enjoy.' 'Producing content that bridges the gap between golf and popular culture is always fun, but hopping in the sandbox with Hally, Andrew and Nick to produce pranks is another level up,' said KP Anderson, Executive Producer at Pro Shop Studios. 'We're incredibly excited to continue to find ways to surprise unsuspecting golfers with this great group.' Each episode of Fore Real features one centerpiece prank, a few fast-paced hits, and recurring moments that tie it all together. As the chaos unfolds, Hally and a rotating guest—often a celebrity or pro golfer—watch it all from a mobile video village, pulling strings and reacting in real time. And just as the bewildered golfers are about to snap, the cameras come out and the reveal sets in: they've just been pranked—Fore Real. ABOUT BETTER CONTENT CO.
