Al-Kharafi continues winning streak at Kuwait Equestrian Federation Championship
KUWAIT CITY, April 27: Kuwait Club's jockey Ali Al-Kharafi continued his impressive streak by winning the seventh round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League Championship, held at the Kuwait Equestrian Center track. Al-Kharafi clocked the fastest time of 34.95 seconds during an outstanding Grand Prix round at a height of 145 cm. Abdullah Al-Awadhi secured second and third places, followed by Anaaz Al-Anaaz, Fawaz Al-Subaie, and Hamad Al-Hajri. Ghazi Faisal Al-Jariwi, Secretary-General of the Equestrian Federation, crowned the winners. In addition to his Grand Prix victory, Al-Kharafi also topped the intermediate category at a height of 135 cm. Hamad Al-Hajri claimed the minor prize at 125 cm, while Mohammed Karam Ghuloum took first place in the 115 cm category. The opening day of the tournament also saw Al-Kharafi claim the grand prize at a height of 140 cm, further cementing his dominance. Secretary-General Ghazi Al-Jariwi praised the exceptional standard of Kuwaiti equestrian sports, highlighting the emergence of talented young riders across all levels — beginners, intermediate, and advanced — and the spirited competition seen throughout the event.

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has reaffirmed its support for the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) by adding the UDST Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Teaching STEM and TVET programs to the in-country scholarship track under 'Tomouh' program. This step reflects the Ministry and the University's shared commitment to advancing education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This announcement took place during a press conference held on UDST campus, in the presence of Dr. Salem Al-Naemi, President of UDST, Dr. Hareb Al-Jabri, Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Ms. Noora Mohammed Al-Ansari, Director of the Scholarships Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Mr. Hamad Al-Hajri, Manager of Student Services at UDST, marking a significant step forward in Qatar's pursuit of advancing STEM and TVET education. Al-Hajri shines with flawless Kuwait Equestrian League fifth round
KUWAIT CITY, April 6: Hamad Al-Hajri delivered a flawless performance to win the fifth round of the Kuwait Equestrian League, claiming victory in the prestigious Grand Prix. Competing at a height of 140 cm, Al-Hajri completed the round in an impressive 31.48 seconds without incurring any penalties. Following Al-Hajri in the rankings were top riders Nick Channing, Steven Daniels, Fawaz Al-Subaie, Yara Al-Hunaidi, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, and Fawaz Al-Rashed. The winners were honored by Sufyan Buqmaz, Managing Director of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation. In the Medium Prize round (130 cm), jockey Rakan Al-Hasawi took first place after a strong performance against a competitive field. He was trailed by Nick Channing, Abrar Al-Musallam, Hamad Al-Hajri, and Ghazi Al-Fulaij. The tournament's opening day featured an exciting fourth round (135 cm), where Fawaz Al-Subaie emerged victorious. He was followed closely by Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Nick Channing, Fawaz Rashid, and Marshood Al-Marshood.
