Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, reported that global engagement is central to Dubai's digital journey. He revealed that Dubai's experience serves as a model for others and will be shared at GITEX EUROPE. He stated that the event is a chance to explore global practices in AI, digitalisation, and data use aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Dubai will present a diverse range of innovations at the pavilion. He further added that global partnerships play a key role in Dubai's strategy to ease lives and boost digital services. He emphasized that the Dubai Pavilion will reflect the city's achievements in AI-driven technology. Digital Dubai will feature several advanced platforms and applications: Dubai Dashboard, offering a real-time, AI-powered city view with predictive analytics Dubai Monitor, an AI-based system that detects anomalies and tracks global events DubaiFAL, an interactive dashboard analyzing social sentiment and feedback Moreover, the Smart Employee app will be showcased. It streamlines HR and financial services for over 76,000 employees. The app supports 200+ services across 76 government entities, reducing administrative time by up to 95%. Another highlighted service is DubaiNow, a unified app offering access to over 320 services from more than 50 public and private entities. Also featured is UAE PASS, the national digital identity. It enables secure facial recognition, digital document signing, and access to over 15,000 services provided by 358 entities. GITEX EUROPE x Ai Everything 2025 was first revealed at GITEX GLOBAL 2023 in Dubai. The event is part of the global GITEX tech network, which spans seven countries including Germany, UAE, Morocco, Nigeria, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. This participation reaffirms Dubai's role as a leader in smart governance and emerging technologies.

It also enables managers to monitor and assess team performance and delegate tasks efficiently. Also showcased at the Dubai Pavilion is DubaiNow, an application for all the city services in Dubai. It enables users to digitally access over 320 city services from over 50 government and private entities. Another featured service is UAE PASS; the secure national digital identity for citizens, residents, and visitors in the UAE. It enables easy identity verification using facial recognition, provides unified access to a range of digital services, allows document signing and verification, and facilitates secure digital document sharing. The number of entities that provide their services through the digital identity app stands at 358, including 60 federal entities, 173 local government entities, and 125 private entities, who collectively offer more than 15,000 services. Gitex Europe to focus on military cyber attacks and humanoid robots
The global expansion of one of Dubai's conference circuit success stories continues next week as Gitex Europe gets under way in Berlin from Wednesday. Technology is at the heart of the three-day exhibition, with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and its interaction with public services and government operations. The Gitex Europe x Ai Everything event will feature international speakers on cybersecurity, the military and defence, as well as how technology is addressing environmental challenges around the world. The event will be held at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds, and follows previous editions of Gitex that have taken place in Morocco, Nigeria, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Start-up companies heavily feature in the show, as up-and-coming tech firms vie for investment into their products and services. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, director general of Digital Dubai, will be speaking at the conference to discuss how technology and AI has been implemented in the UAE, and how expertise can be shared with the world. 'We attach exceptional importance to global partnerships, as they are key to our strategy to ease the lives of people and businesses, and to realise our vision of digitalising life in Dubai,' he said. This marks a major step towards a unified, user-centric digital government model under the leadership of Digital Dubai. The initiative aims to simplify access to government services for residents, businesses, and visitors. It offers seamless, integrated digital platforms that serve various sectors and needs. The launch took place in the presence of Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of The Executive Council of Dubai, and Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai. This milestone follows the approval of the initiative in February 2025 by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. The initiative provides government services through seven unified platforms: Dubai Now for individuals for individuals Invest in Dubai for businesses for businesses Visit Dubai for tourism for tourism Four other platforms covering transport, justice, construction, and trade Digital Dubai is leading the project. It aligns with the mandate to oversee shared digital channels and supports the city's digital strategy. It contributes to the goals of the 360 Services Policy, aiming for 100% unified, integrated digital platforms. Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti emphasized that the initiative is guided by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan. The focus is on proactive, future-ready service experiences. These efforts reinforce Dubai's global standing in digital service delivery. He said the initiative reflects the government's commitment to seamless digital services through round-the-clock, dedicated platforms. It also boosts Dubai's status as a tech-driven, innovation-first hub. Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General of the RTA, stated that digital channels are the primary means for customers to access services. The initiative supports platform unification, reducing the need for multiple service windows. He highlighted the Shared Mobility Channel. It provides access to all mobility services, public or private, through one interface. Public transport, shared mobility, and taxis served 747.1 million riders in 2024. Dubai now has 2.5 million registered vehicles and 39 million active nol cards. Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, said the initiative is a strategic leap. It builds trust, saves time, and opens up opportunities for individuals and businesses alike. He noted the move is aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The initiative supports systems that help businesses grow, simplify life for residents, and attract global talent. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori of Digital Dubai said digital channels have been key to past achievements. He emphasized the need to move forward with bold, transformative initiatives using AI and advanced tech. He added that a well-defined roadmap is in place. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Acting Director-General of Dubai Municipality, noted the initiative supports a future-ready city model. Integrated services and data exchange will enhance the user experience and boost efficiency. Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts, said that easy access to services is essential for quality of life. He called this step a clear expression of Dubai's forward-looking leadership. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, CEO of DP World, said unified service channels boost economic activity. The logistics and trade channel will streamline commercial operations and support cross-border trade. He linked the initiative to the goals of Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which targets AED 25.6 trillion in external trade over the next decade. Approved by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, the initiative is a milestone in building a future-ready digital ecosystem. It enhances life quality, attracts global enterprises, and fosters innovation in service delivery. All Dubai government services will eventually be offered through these seven platforms, eliminating the need for multiple access points.
