Ruby to hold concerts in the Netherlands, France - Music - Arts & Culture

Egyptian actress and singer Ruby will hold two concerts in the Netherlands and France in October. Ruby will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Netherlands, on 11 October, followed by a performance in Paris on 12 October. This will be the first time the singer takes the stage in both countries. The tour's announcement comes shortly after Ruby performed at Morocco's Mawazine Festival (19-27 June), an event that also featured other Egyptian performers, including Egyptian Project, Hamaki, Tamer Ashour, and Carmen Soliman. Ruby's international exposure began over the past years. In June 2024, she embarked on her first North American tour, performing in four cities in Canada and the US. Born in 1980, Rania Hussein Mohamed Tawfik, popularly known as Ruby, started taking minor roles in films in the late 1990s. She made her first significant appearance in Yousef Chahine's film, "Silence"....We're Rolling (2001). In parallel, she launched her singing career with the single Enta Aref Eih (What Do You Know) in 2003. The music video was shot in Prague, presenting Ruby belly dancing on the streets. Over the years, Ruby has released several albums and singles. She appeared in numerous TV ads while continuing to work in films and television series. In recent years, she starred in the television series This Is What Went Down (2019) and Mrs. Mayor (2023), as well as the film Mommies Group (2023). Mohamed Hamaki Is Putting Final Touches on New Album

Yara Sameh Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki is putting the final touches on his new album. The record consists of 10 songs and is slated to arrive in the summer. In the album, Hamaki cooperates with new collaborations with composers Tamer Hussein, Aziz Elshafei, and more. The megastar released his last album 'Howa El Asas' in August 2024. Hamaki, born on November 4, 1975, is one of Egypt's and the Middle East's most talented male singers. He released his first single in 1997 and his first album 'Khalina Neesh' (Let's Live) in 2003. Hamaki's music career consisted of more than a dozen songs and 9 albums. Yara Sameh Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki will headline this year's Mawazine Festival. Mawazine is a Moroccan international music festival that began in 2001 and is hosting its 20th edition this year. As one of the largest music festivals in the world, Mawazine attracts more than 2.5 million attendees each year. This year's Mawazine festival is scheduled to be held from June 20 to 28 in Rabat, Morocco. Hamaki is set to perform at the festival's stage, Nahda, on June 21. He is set to present several of his popular and latest songs. Mohamed Hamaki Discharged from Hospital, Shares Health Update with Fans

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki has been discharged from the hospital after his health improved. The singer's rep revealed Monday that he underwent surgery and left the OR shortly afterwards. "He is in good health and his condition is improving and under the supervision of doctors," the rep added. In a note posted to his Instagram Story, Hamaki congratulated his fans on the occasion of Ramadan and updated them on his health. "Happy Ramadan to all of you. May this be a blessed month for all of us. In the past few hours, a lot of exaggerated news has been circulating about my health condition," the superstar wrote. He added: "I would like to reassure you that I had a minor surgery that was scheduled a long time ago, and thank God it went well and I am now at home,". "Thank you for your question and prayers.
