Gen V Season 2 OTT Release Date: When and where to watch Jaz Sinclair & Lizze Broadway's satirical superhero saga
Gen V Season 2 OTT Release Date: Brace yourselves, Godolkin University is back in session, and this semester, the syllabus includes blood, betrayal, and battle drills. In a world where capes don't mean kindness and campus life is more Hunger Games than Harvard, Gen V Season 2 storms back with more chaos, conspiracies, and character arcs that cut deeper than Marie's blood-bending powers. The satirical superhero saga is set to stream on Prime Video starting September 17, 2025. The season will kick off with a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday, culminating in the season finale on October 22, 2025. More about Gen V Season 2 Set in the aftermath of The Boys Season 4, the new season of Gen V plunges us back into the troublesome world of Godolkin University. The institution, now under the leadership of the enigmatic Dean Cipher (Hamish Linklater), has shifted its focus from nurturing heroes to training Supes as soldiers. This militarised approach reflects the broader societal tensions, with the United States under the authoritarian influence of Homelander. Our protagonists Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), Emma Meyer (Lizze Broadway), Jordan Li (London Thor and Derek Luh), and Sam Riordan (Asa Germann) return to a barely recognisable campus. Once a place of learning, Godolkin has become a battleground of ideologies, with students subjected to brutal training exercises reminiscent of a dystopian fight club. Meet the cast and characters of Gen V Season 2 The ensemble also includes Maddie Phillips and Sean Patrick Thomas, with Hamish Linklater joining the cast as Dean Cipher, the new head of Godolkin University. Additionally, Chace Crawford reprises his role as The Deep from The Boys, further intertwining the narratives of the two series. The season also addresses the tragic passing of Chance Perdomo, who portrayed Andre Anderson. The production of Gen V Season 2 faced delays due to the untimely death of Chance Perdomo in March 2024. Filming commenced in May 2024 and concluded in October of the same year. The series is helmed by showrunner Michele Fazekas, with Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg serving as executive producers.

Gen V returns to Amazon for season 2 this September
While we're still a ways out from The Boys returning to Amazon for its fifth season, the franchise's spinoff series, Gen V, will be back this fall. At this year's CCXP convention in Mexico, Amazon announced that Gen V is set to return for its second season on September 17th with a three episode premiere. Along with the premiere date news, Amazon also released a new trailer teasing some of the challenges Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway), Jordan (London Thor and Derek Luh), are going to be up against as they return for another year of studying at Godolkin University. With the White House now effectively under Homelander's control, Godolkin has become a very different, even more sinister place where a large chunk of the superpowered student body is coming around on the idea that regular humans are inferior beings. That's the message Godolkin's new dean, Cipher (Hamish Linklater) wants his students to take to heart as they learn to wield their powers by participating in what looks like a school-sanctioned fight club. But it's hard for Marie and her friends to see Cipher as anything but an enemy given how the university locked them away for trying to stop Sam (Asa Germann) and Cate (Maddie Phillips) from murdering people without abilities. Though Gen V 's younger character will be the primary focus this season, the trailer also makes clear that the new season will spend more time with Polarity (Sean Patrick Thomas) as he investigates the death of his son Andre (Chance Perdromo, who died in a motorcycle accident last March ahead of the season's production starting.) Suffice to say that things aren't looking great for the Gen V kids, but as dire as the situation is about to get, it looks like they won't be going down without a fight when we see them again this fall.

Teaser Trailer for THE BOYS Spinoff Series GEN V Season 2 — GeekTyrant
After a long wait and a lot of questions, Gen V is officially back in session. Amazon Prime Video has confirmed that Season 2 of The Boys spin-off will premiere on September 17th, and it's bringing the chaos. The announcement came with a brutal, blood-soaked trailer that teases an all-out war at Godolkin University, and this time, the stakes are even higher. The new footage features a defiant Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) rallying her fellow Supes: 'Whatever we do, we do it together.' From the looks of it, that 'together' includes lots of violence. The official synopsis from Amazon sets the tone: 'As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander's iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new Dean preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are celebrated heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma reluctantly return to college, burdened by months of trauma and loss.' 'But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus. The gang learns of a secret program that goes back to the founding of Godolkin University that may have larger implications than they realize. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it.' New faces include Hamish Linklater as Dean Cipher, a man whose friendly vibe probably hides something sinister. Returning cast members include Lizze Broadway as Emma, Maddie Phillips as Cate, Asa Germann as Sam, and Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity. The new trailer doesn't ignore the absence of Chance Perdomo, who tragically passed away last year. Rather than recasting his role as Andre, the show has chosen to move forward with a reworked storyline. The trailer briefly touches on this loss, showing Polarity enraged and grieving over his son's disappearance. Gen V Season 2 kicks off with a three-episode premiere on September 17, followed by weekly drops every Wednesday. Let the carnage resume.
