Transport festival attracts hundreds of entrants
More than 250 vehicles are set to join a parade through a Cheshire village on Sunday. Audlem Festival of Transport is in its 26th year, and features owners showcasing their cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. The event begins in nearby Hankelow, with the vehicles travelling to and around Audlem before being displayed on the village playing field. Audlem Special Events Team (ASET), the volunteer group which organises the event, said it attracted between 3,000 and 4,000 spectators every year. The transport festival is free for visitors, with drivers paying an entry fee to be part of it.
