Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations at Tarnaka
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy participated in the Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations at the Tarnaka Hanuman temple. Former GHMC Mayor Banda Karthika Reddy, former Minister Marri Shashidhar Reddy, senior BJP leaders Gautam Rao and Banda Chandra Reddy were among those who participated. Mr. Kishan Reddy offered prayers at the temple seeking the divine blessings for the welfare of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He later served lunch to the devotees who attended in thousands.

Special pujas performed to Anjaneya Swamy
Guntur: Special pujas were performed to Lord Sri Anjaneya Swamy on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi on Thursday at all the Anjaneya Swamy Temples in the district. Special pujas with betel nut leaves were performed to Lord Sri Anjaneya Swamy at Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Old Guntur. Special pujas were performed with various flowers and garlands offered to Lord Anjaneya Swamy. A large number of devotees visited the temple and performed pujas seeking the blessings of Lord Anjaneya Swamy. The devotees performed Hanuman Chalisa. The Devasthanam authorities offered Teerdham and Prasadam to the devotees who visited the temple. Meanwhile, Hanuman Jayanti celebrations were celebrated at Etukuru of Guntur city on Thursday under the aegis of Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu, head of the Tulasi group of companies. Special pujas were performed to Lord Hanuman on this occasion. Later, they served meals to the devotees who participated in the programme.

Peddi Movie Filming Underway on Custom Village Set in Hyderabad
Production on Peddi, the upcoming pan-India feature led by Ram Charan, has progressed into a major schedule, with filming now underway on an extensive, specially constructed village set in Hyderabad. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, a National Film Award recipient, Peddi marks his return to direction after Uppena. The project is being developed under a large-scale production plan, with the director actively supervising the shoot. The latest schedule is expected to cover a substantial portion of the film's content, and nearly one-third of filming has already been completed. The movie is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru for Vriddhi Cinemas, with presentation support from Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The cast includes Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Ram Charan, who underwent a physical transformation for the role, recently posted an update from the set on his social media, featuring a behind-the-scenes photograph with co-star Divyendu and director Buchi Babu Sana.
