It led to the mum-of-five declaring that she wouldn't bother to watch the programme but Princess has now spoken out about what Katie really thinks. Speaking exclusively to The Sun to launch her brand new show, Princess confirmed that Katie was "supportive" of the show despite the tensions understood to be brewing amongst them. When asked how much input both her parents had been able to put into the show, Princess told The Sun: "They have both just been very supportive. "They have both said 'you do you' and be yourself." Her brother Junior then added: "They are both proud of us. "They are supportive and they are there. "We have learnt from them and they are veterans in this game." Although Princess claims to have been supported by Katie, the model let her feelings be really known as she ranted on her podcast about her plans to snub the programme. Katie had offered to film for three days for free as part of Princess' show but her request was turned down and it was later clarified that she would not be appearing at all. Princess Andre breaks silence on mum Katie Price's mortifying birthday blunder after star was 'banned' from party Telly bosses and industry insiders reportedly made the decision because it is 'not good for Princess to be seen with Katie'. Speaking last week, Katie said: "And it puts Princess in a situation because I don't want her to feel she has to choose between me and her work because I want her to do well. 'And I have said to Princess, just see how it feels for me because I should be there supporting you. "I want to be there to support you like my family did. And I'm your mum and especially as you're doing stuff that I did, I'm proud of you and want to be there. 6 Princess downplayed speculation of a rift Credit: ITV 6 Katie was left feeling hurt by the decision to not feature her in the show Credit: Getty "I won't be watching the show and I won't be promoting the show, because I don't need it rubbed in my face of everyone playing Happy Families," she said. Revealing the extent of how much she claims to have been pushed out, Katie continued: 'They won't allow Princess to do photo shoots with me. "They won't allow me to go to any events with Princess because they think I am trash basically. 'Now, everyone knows she's my daughter. So what difference does it make? If it wasn't for me or Pete, Princess and Junior wouldn't be known anyway. 'I find it an insult as I've been in the industry 30 years. I know this job inside and out. "If there's anyone better to advise or be there and guide Princess, it is me.'

ITV Midsomer Murders viewers distracted by 'excellent' character return
Midsomer Murders viewers were left distracted on Tuesday evening after they spotted an unexpected reunion between some co-stars on the hit ITV show. Midsomer Murders viewers were pleasantly surprised by the return of a beloved character in Tuesday's episode. The popular series focuses on an array of murder mysteries unfolding in the villages scattered across the fictional county of Midsomer. Produced and created by Anthony Horowitz and Douglas Watkinson, the show draws inspiration from Caroline Graham's Chief Inspector Barnaby book series. In the re-run of the episode titled Happy Families, guests convened at Victor Karras' (Stuart Milligan) residence to celebrate his 70th birthday with a murder mystery party, according to Devon Live. The role-play kicked off with a waiter found "dead", followed by a faux detective arriving to assist the guests in cracking the case. However, the festivities took a sinister turn when Victor, feeling unwell, tried to retire upstairs, only to tragically slip on the staircase and become impaled on an Egyptian spear. Initially, the party-goers mistook the incident for another part of the act, until it was revealed that the board game mogul had been poisoned with cyanide. DCI John Barnaby (Neil Dudgeon) and DS Jamie Winter (Nick Hendrix) were soon on the scene to investigate, but their efforts were thwarted when a storm washed away their only mode of transport, leaving them stranded with the suspects and the murderer. While tuning into the episode, viewers were unexpectedly treated to a Jonathan Creek reunion. Stuart Milligan was reunited on-screen with his old castmates Ade Edmondson and Caroline Quentin. Ade took on the role of Hugo Welles, an actor portraying the sleuth in the murder mystery game, while Caroline appeared as Hugo's spouse, Helen, who also participated in the interactive event. Following the airing, numerous fans flocked to Twitter to express their astonishment at the surprise cameos. "Caroline Quentin and Stuart Milligan in tonight's episode of #MidsomerMurders. Waiting for Alan Davies to jump out from behind the curtain," one viewer tweeted. Another chimed in: "It's a Jonathan Creek reunion tonight on #MidsomerMurders - Caroline Quentin, Ade Edmondson and Stuart Milligan. Excellent!". A third fan posted: "Love a #whodunnit as #MidsomerMurders is back on! ! And with a stellar supporting cast - Ade Edmondson, Caroline Quentin and Stuart Milligan." Echoing the same excitement, another added: "Is this episode of Midsomer a forgotten Jonathan Creek episode?". Elsewhere, The producers of a new stage adaptation of the hit TV show have announced casting, ahead of the show's UK tour. Daniel Casey (EastEnders), who created the role of Sergeant Troy in Midsomer Murders, will take on the role of Inspector Tom Barnaby in the world premiere of Guy Unsworth's stage adaptation of Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger's Drift. The tour opens at Richmond Theatre in October later this year, and will visit a string of dates in Malvern, Chester, Eastbourne, Sheffield, Truro, Guildford, Brighton, Blackpool, Glasgow, Nottingham, Birmingham, Norwich, Derby, and Leicester.
