Congress campaign launched with several promises
Patna: Congress party on Monday launched the 'Har Ghar Adhikar Abhiyan' in the presence of AICC in charge of the state, Krishna Allavaru, and party's state president Rajesh Ram.
As part of the campaign for the coming assembly elections due this year, the Grand Alliance partner promised 'Mai Behan Maan Yojana' of Rs 2,500 per month, old age and disabled pension of Rs 1,500 per month, 200 units of free electricity, free medical insurance up to Rs 25 lakh and schemes to give up to 5 decimals of land for houses to the landless families.
Rajesh said the Congress's bouquet of guarantees campaign also include guarantees like startup funds, lakhs of govt jobs, crop purchase at MSP etc. He also said the Congress party will also give the right to employment and medical treatment.
Allavaru said just as the Congress has done the work of giving the right to education, food and information to the common people, it will also give the right to employment and health facilities in Bihar. He also said that in the state, they will go to the public and party workers and discuss their problems and work to include all the issues in the election campaign.
