KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is set to experience an electrifying weekend this October as two of the world's leading electronic music brands make their long-awaited debut. HardTech, combining the powerhouse events Hardmission and Techmission, and the globally renowned trance festival Transmission, will headline a massive pre-party for the Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025. The two-day celebration, announced yesterday, will light up the Helipad at the Sepang International Circuit on Oct 18 and 19, is expected to draw a crowd of up to 15,000 revellers. Organised by Hi:Five Entertainment in partnership with Sepang Circuit, the event will run daily from 3pm to 11.50pm, blending top-tier DJ sets with stunning light shows, immersive visuals, and a festival atmosphere unlike any other. Hi:Five Entertainment said HardTech, famed for its relentless beats and cutting-edge rave productions, will open the weekend on Oct 18. The following night, Transmission will take centre stage with its signature grand-scale visuals, cinematic storytelling, and laser artistry. The star-studded line-up includes international heavyweights Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Ben Nicky, Warface, Tweekacore, and Sub Zero Project, alongside Malaysian favourites Bass Agents, Chukies & Whackboi, and Mister Ariffin. According to the organisers, the event will be more than just a festival — it will be a cultural gathering that brings together motorsport fans and dance music enthusiasts in one unforgettable weekend.

HardTech — featuring Hardmission and Techmission — and iconic trance brand Transmission will take over the Helipad at the PetronasSepang International Circuit on October 18 and 19, with organisers expecting up to 15,000 festival-goers over the weekend. The event, hosted by Hi:Five Entertainment with Sepang Circuit as its strategic partner, will run from 3pm to 11.50pm each day, combining world-class DJ performances with immersive light and visual shows. In a statement, Hi:Five Entertainment said HardTech, known for its hard-hitting beats and futuristic rave experience, will make its Malaysian debut on October 18, while Transmission — celebrated for its grand-scale productions and cinematic laser storytelling — will headline on October 19. Organisers have billed the event as more than just a music festival, describing it as a cultural celebration that will unite motorsport fans and dance music enthusiasts.
