WFPD arrest two women for burglary and damage
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Two women face first-degree felony charges in a March 2025 alleged break-in and damage to property in a Wichita Falls apartment complex. Shantell Hargrove and Trina Wilson are both charged with burglary of a habitation-intend other felony with bonds of $25,000 each. 22 plead guilty in Wichita Falls drug conspiracy case On March 15, 2025, Wichita Falls police were sent to the 5500 block of Professional Drive for a burglary. When they arrived, officers spoke with the witness, who reported hearing a loud banging noise at the victim's apartment. They told police that when they went outside, they saw two women, later identified as Hargrove and Wilson, attempting to pry open the door's lock. Police said the witness saw them pushing the door open with their shoulders until it opened, and the women went inside. The witness stated that the pair then left the scene before the officers arrived. A detective also spoke with the witness, confirming what the witness told officers back in March. The witness stated that they knew both women and showed the police a picture of Hargrove that they had found on Facebook. During the burglary, police said the damaged items were: 45″ LG TV – $200 45″ Samsung TV – $500 (2) Broken Door – $200 Broken wooden door – $300 Fender acoustic guitar – $500 PlayStation 5 – $500 Hargrove was arrested Monday, June 2, and remains in jail. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has arrested one man and is searching for another after the brutal beating of a 27-year-old off-duty officer during a robbery in the Bronx early Saturday. Wayne Lucas, 23, is wanted in connection with the attack. 23-year-old thug suspected of beating off-duty NYPD officer in caught-on-camera assault is nabbed
One of the masked thugs suspected of savagely beating and robbing an off-duty NYPD cop at knifepoint in the Bronx over the weekend was busted Tuesday morning, law enforcement sources said. Taveon Hargrove, 23, was picked up by the US Marshals' Regional Fugitive Task Force in North Chesterfield, Virginia, in connection to the brutal caught-on-video early Saturday attack on the 27-year-old officer on St. Peters Avenue in Westchester Square, according to the sources. Charges are pending against Hargrove, who cops over the weekend warned was 'to be considered armed and dangerous.' 4 Taveon Hargrove, one of the suspects who allegedly beat an off-duty cop and stole his service weapon in the Bronx is arrested. Brutal video shows the moment two masked thugs pinned an off-duty NYPD cop to the ground at knifepoint in the Bronx — and then savagely stomped on his face. The shocking caught-on-camera assault unfolded on St. Peter's Ave. in Westchester Square after the two goons zeroed in on the officer just after 4 a.m. on Saturday, police said. Surveillance video captured the pair approaching the cop on the sidewalk and immediately throwing him to the ground next to a huge pile of trash. 'They forced him to the ground, struck him in the face, held a knife to his throat, and stole his belongings, including his firearm.' Cops have since nabbed Hargrove's father for allegedly using the cop's stolen credit card at several Bronx bodegas, law enforcement sources said. The second goon hasn't yet been identified and police are still trying to track them down.
