Brad Pitt launching linen range

Brad Pitt is launching a line of linen clothing for summer. The Hollywood actor launched his own clothing company called God's True Cashmere in 2019 with designer and spiritual healer Sat Hari and now the brand is branching out into warm weather wear with The Elysian Collection, a unisex range made from biodegradable linen. Brad said in a statement: "This collection is vibrant, exciting and introduces a fresh dimension to what we are doing. Linen seems like the obvious progression of the brand, adding natural fibers with properties and textures we enjoy." Hari added: "I am inspired by this new adventure for the brand. We have focused on expressing our version of what a luxury linen garment could be. "There is a natural progression from our cashmere line including familiar bodies, gemstones and a focus on the holistic qualities, which I believe will resonate with our customer." The pieces - which include shirts, trousers and shorts - come in shades of cream, white, yellow and green. God's True Cashmere launched with a range of cashmere shirts which feature seven buttons made from healing stones that are aligned with the body's chakras. The shirts retail from around £1,500 and the collection also includes cashmere hats, scarves and socks as well as jackets and T-shirts, which sell from around £500. Hari previously revealed she designs all the garments with the actor's help. She previously told the New Yorker: "Brad and I design it all together. "We pick the gemstone snap that we feel resonates with the shirt. It's almost like the shirt asks for the snap that it needs." She also explained the idea for the company came after she had a dream in which she saw Brad dressed head-to-toe in green cashmere. She said of the dream: "I looked at him and said: 'What are you doing? Are you going golfing? You look like a leprechaun'. And he said: 'No, I just need more softness in my life'." She later told the actor about the dream: "And he said: 'That's strange, because on Tuesday I told my stylist: 'I need more green cashmere in my life. I need more softness'." They went on to start the company together after Hari made him a green cashmere shirt.

Khandwa: One of the accused arrested for the gangrape of a tribal woman allegedly put his hand inside her body after the assault following which her intestines came out and she died of excessive bleeding in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, police said on Monday. "No wooden rod has been recovered from the crime scene so far. She died of excessive bleeding," Khargone range Deputy Inspector General of Police Siddharth Bahuguna and Kalwa police station in-charge inspector Jagdeesh Sindya told PTI over phone. Mr Sindya is the investigation officer of the case, in which two accused -- identified only as Hari (40) and Sunil (35) -- have been arrested by police. Her intestines had come out, while the uterus remained unharmed, he added. "We are piecing together evidence and video recording them. We are trying to get remand of the two accused to recover a blood-soaked bed roll from the cot from the scene," Sindya said. The initial post-mortem report is awaited, the police officer said. The accused have been charged under sections 66 (causing death), 70 (1) (gangrape) and 103 (1) (murder punishment) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The gangrape took place on Friday night and the woman died the next day (Saturday) at around 2.30 pm from excessive bleeding. Nirbhaya like horror returns: Tribal woman gang-raped & brutalised in Madhya Pradesh, dies

45-year-old tribal woman died after a brutal gangrape INDORE: In a rerun of the Nirbhaya horror, a tribal woman was gangraped and tortured so brutally that she died on Saturday afternoon. Savaged with a wooden object or a rod, her intestines were protruding when she was found bleeding, unconscious, and taking her last breaths in a village in Khandwa on Saturday afternoon. Two men, who were the last to be seen with her, have been arrested, said DIG Siddharth Bahuguna, adding: "The accused had tortured the woman and damaged her private parts." The blood-curdling crime took place in a village in Khalwa region, around 50km from the district headquarters and 170km from Indore. The woman, a 45-year-old mother of two, had set out to attend a wedding in the village on Friday night. "After the wedding celebration, she set out on Friday night to drop off a female relative along with one of the accused, Hari, at a nearby field, just half a kilometre from her home. When she didn't return that night, her family assumed she had stayed back with them. The woman went to Hari's home where they consumed alcohol along with co-accused Sunil," said ASP Raghuwanshi. According to police, Hari's mother claimed that they were sleeping inside their home on Friday night. On Saturday morning, when she woke up, she heard someone whimpering and stepped out to see who it was. To her horror, she saw the woman in agony, bleeding and barely able to hold herself up. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trade Bitcoin & Ethereum – No Wallet Needed! She died around 1:30-2pm after which the family members dialled 100 and informed police. The body was taken to a hospital for post-mortem examination," said ASP Raghuwanshi. Preliminary medical examination revealed she had been brutalised with a sharp or hard object and suffered terrible internal injuries. Gang-raped tribal woman's body sent to hosp in tractor Additional SP Rajesh Raghuwanshi said, "A short post-mortem report has confirmed grievous internal trauma to the private parts. Based on this, a case of gang rape and murder has been registered against Hari Palvi, 40, and Sunil Korku, 30, residents of the same village who work as labourers." One of the doctors on the post-mortem panel told TOI on condition of anonymity, "The woman had suffered vaginal tear in a way that her intestinal contents had come out. She had suffered heavy blood loss due to intestinal bleeding. Her uterus and bladder were intact but the pouch containing the uterus was ripped. It is suspected that a hard object like a rod or a stick was used. Marks of dragging and scratches were also found on the body. " Family members told police that the woman briefly regained consciousness and told them, "Something terrible has happened to me, I will not survive. Sunil and Hari did this." Her son said they were initially unaware of the extent of her injuries. It was only when his wife checked on her that they realized she was bleeding profusely from her private parts. After some time, she gasped and died. Her body was transported to hospital on a tractor. According to the family, the woman was carrying Rs 20,000 - savings handed to her by her younger son and daughter who had recently returned from Goa, where they work with a road construction company. The family suspects that along with the brutal assault, she may have been robbed as well. (The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court directives on cases related to sexual assault)

Gang-raped & tortured, 45-year-old tribal woman bleeds to death in MP

INDORE: A 45-year-old tribal mother of two died after being allegedly gangraped and brutalised in a village of Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa, leaving her so badly injured that her intestines were protruding when she was found Saturday afternoon bleeding and unconscious. Two men last seen with the victim have been arrested, DIG Siddharth Bahuguna said. The savage assault, reminiscent of 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape and murder, took place in a village around 170km from Indore after the woman returned from a wedding late Friday with one of the suspects, identified as Hari Palvi. "After the wedding, she and Hari escorted a woman relative till her village. When she didn't return home that night, her family assumed she had stayed back. We suspect the woman went to Hari's house, where they had some drinks with another suspect, Sunil Korku," said ASP Rajesh Raghuwanshi. Investigators quoted Hari's mother as saying she woke up to sounds of someone whimpering in the courtyard and stepped out to find the victim bleeding and in pain. She then collapsed, briefly regaining consciousness once before passing out again. A neighbour called the woman's family and they took her home, barely half a kilometre away, instead of a doctor. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo She died between 1.30pm and 2pm, after which police were informed, Raghuwanshi said. Madhya Pradesh Tribal Woman Gang-Rape Case: Police Await Post-Mortem, Forensic Report Amid Brutality Claims

In a twist, the police in Madhya Pradesh stated on Sunday that "no hard, metal, or wooden object" was recovered from the crime scene in the deeply disturbing incident—reminiscent of the infamous Nirbhaya case in Delhi—which has emerged from Khandwa district, where an elderly tribal woman was gang-raped on Saturday. The police are awaiting 'forensic and post-mortem report.' Allegedly, she was brutally tortured and ultimately lost her life. The police also said no body part was protruding from her body, when police recovered it and sent for post-mortem. Speaking to IANS, Rajesh Raghuwanshi, additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) stated that the matter is under investigation. He said, 'the victim had accompanied the accused Sunil and Hari, as she was known to them, to their house on Friday evening, where the three consumed alcohol together, as witnesses said.' On Saturday morning, Hari's mother informed the victim's family that she was unwell and advised them to take her home. The family took her back but did not inform the police until after her death. Although she was bleeding profusely, the authorities have not recovered any sharp object that may have been used. "No body part was protruding," the officer said. The post-mortem and forensic reports are expected to clarify the cause of her injuries and death. Some reports indicate that the perpetrators used a sharp metal object to cause severe internal injuries, but police have not confirmed this claim. The accused—two individuals—have been taken into police custody. Other reports suggest that the perpetrators inflicted extreme suffering, leading to prolonged agony before the victim succumbed to her wounds. The victim, a 45-year-old mother of two, was allegedly robbed of Rs 20,000 after the assault and left to die due to a lack of timely medical intervention. The crime occurred on Saturday morning, and she passed away the same afternoon near Roshni village, under the jurisdiction of the Khalwa police station. The senior police officer stated: "The woman was known to the accused and stayed at their house on Friday after coming back from marriage. The three had a drinking session together. The reason for her excessive bleeding needs to be medically established. Both accused individuals denied any wrongdoing, and we are investigating the matter thoroughly." Reacting to the tragedy, the Congress Party condemned the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party government and announced a three-member investigative committee, composed entirely of women, to ensure justice. The victim's family revealed that she was last seen with Sunil and Hari on Friday evening. She was later found in severe pain, semi-conscious in a shed. She confirmed the assault before succumbing to her injuries. Authorities continue their investigation, and the post-mortem report remains pending.
