Clarkson's Farm star Harriet sets new 'farmercore' trend with chic tweed cap

Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan has already been setting her own niche trend this summer with her 'farmercore' tweed cap proving a must-have with fans When the new series of Clarkson's Farm landed on Amazon Prime last week, one thing we weren't expecting to get from it was a new fashion trend. However thanks to the arrival of Harriet Cowan, it seems we're all keen to get in on the farmercore look that she's been wearing. Although obviously Harriet's outfits are based around practicality, not fashion, there's no denying she's managed to create a whole new look that everyone's dying to copy. Following on from the countrycore trend Claudia Winkleman kick started in January thanks to her The Traitors wardrobe, farmercore is the new way to embrace the outdoorsy aesthetic, even if you're a born and bred city dweller. One item that fans are already dying to snap up from Harriet's wardrobe is her PJ Powell Tweed Baseball Cap, which she wore in an Instagram post from way back in 2023. Commenting underneath the snap, one fan asked: 'Hi Harriet loved you on Clarkson farm. Would you kindly share where your cap is from please?' whilst another replied: 'I was just about to ask this too!' Thankfully Harriet's chic tweed cap is still easy enough to get your hands on, and is available from £32.95 on Amazon. It's made from a green tweed fabric with a brown suede peak, with the tweed being made from 80% wool which is breathable and durable. If you'd rather avoid the tweed look, Schoffel's Thurlestone Unisex Cap is £30 and is made from 100% cotton twill with a similar contrasting peak. For something that's slightly more street style than country chic, the Fiona Wool Blend Flannel Baseball Cap in Taupe from Reiss is £58 and has a brushed wool finish with gold accents. Harriet's PJ Powell Tweed Baseball Cap is one size fits all, but has an adjustable strap at the back. Amazon shoppers have also been singing its praises, with one saying: 'Had previous cheaper versions - this one is built to last. Never off the head!' Another agreed: 'Fits perfect, quality tweed finish,' whilst a third chimed in: 'This was a present and was great quality and unique design. Very happy with it.' In fact the only negative reviews were based around the packaging, with one saying: 'nice hat but the brim was slightly bent,' whilst another noted: 'The item came squashed and was not packaged adequately for price.'

Jeremy Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan's life off-screen including family feud

Harriet Cowan has taken on a new role in the fourth season of Amazon Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm, where she was lauded as a lifesaver by presenter Jeremy Clarkson. Newcomer Harriet Cowan, 24, has bid farewell to Diddly Squat farm where she stepped in as a pinch-hitter for Jeremy Clarkson during the fourth series of the show, adding a touch of glamour to the rural setting. The TikTok sensation was drafted as temporary cover for manager Kaleb Cooper, 26, while he embarked on a nationwide tour with his solo production. Upon his return to the Chipping Norton farmland, Harriet resumed her everyday life. ‌ In a sweet parting exchange with the ex-Top Gear host, she expressed her thrill having been an indispensable asset to the team. ‌ "You saved my life. So, if we get stuck again, can we give you a call?" Clarkson queried the qualified nurse. Yet at this juncture, sources intimate with the programme have indicated there are "no plans" for Harriet's return in the current or any forthcoming seasons of Clarkson's Farm. Harriet may have taken her leave from the screen, but the online influencer swiftly endeared herself to viewers and commands a hefty following - with 448,700 disciples on TikTok and 159,000 on Instagram - spurring calls for her reappearance on the show, reports the Mirror. ‌ Hailing from a lineage of farmers, Harriet was reared on her grandfather's livestock farm, now managed by her father. Her digital presence predominantly showcases the pastoral lifestyle along with frequent appearances by her irresistibly charming brown collie named Sky. Let's delve into Harriet's activities away from the limelight, including girls' holidays and nights out. Girls' holiday and nights out ‌ Following her stint on Clarkson's Farm, Harriet embarked on a well-deserved getaway with friends to sunny Spain. Trading in her wellies for a trendy bucket hat and blue bikini, she unwound by the pool and shared a few glimpses into her vacation on social media. Harriet was spotted getting glammed up for a night out with the girls and even shared a photo of herself inflating a pink lido for a relaxing poolside lounge session. She also reportedly tried on some accessories at a local store, enjoying some retail therapy. While Harriet dedicates a significant amount of time to her work on the farm and nursing, as well as advocating for farmers' mental health, she also enjoys letting loose and having fun. Her social media is filled with snaps of glamorous nights out with friends and her partner, James Booth. ‌ Boyfriend James Harriet's boyfriend, James, is reportedly a third-generation farmer, and the couple has been together for "some time," according to one of her step-sisters. The Clarkson's Farm star frequently shares adorable photos and videos with her partner, whom she appears to have met at the Young Farmers Club (YFC). In one heartfelt video post, she wrote: "The 'butterfly effect' is crazy because if I didn't join young farmers we'd of never of met." ‌ Harriet and her boyfriend share much in common with their agricultural heritage. She playfully wrote in a post last year: "Your bf brings you presents to unwrap ... Mine brings me bales to unwrap. We're not the same." In another amusing TikTok about lambing season, Harriet, seen cuddling an adorable lamb, quipped: "I've been covered head to toe in bodily fluids. But at the end of it all I expect my bf to take the bins out cause it's gross". Nursing career ‌ Beyond farming, Harriet maintains a demanding career in nursing. A 2023 graduate from the University of Derby, she's now a fully qualified nurse working for the NHS with a hectic timetable. Harriet also touched on the monetary challenges of farming in a humorous TikTok, pondering whether she could leave her job to farm full-time, but then remembering her mortgage obligations. She wittily captioned her video, "Suppose I would miss nursing a bit too". Family feud Family drama seems to be part of Harriet's life as well; her stepsister has spoken out since Harriet gained popularity on Clarkson's Farm. Elina Clifford, a professional chiropodist, has openly shared her thoughts regarding her distant stepsister Harriet with quite a candid approach. ‌ In a candid chat with the Daily Mail, Elina labelled her step-sibling as "fake" and "self-absorbed", stressing "She loves to be the centre of attention, often at others' expense". Moreover, Elina didn't mince her words when issuing a stark caution to Clarkson's Farm, stating: "She is fake in the way she behaves, so Jeremy Clarkson, beware!" The Express has also reported that Elina and her older sister Maddie – a dedicated teacher – attribute the beginnings of the "family feud" to Harriet's purported misconduct towards their mother Vicky, currently in a relationship with Harriet's father Eddy. The discord within the family, the sisters allege, stems from Harriet's alleged coldness towards their mother, leading to significant strife. "We don't have a good relationship with her. Our mum is with her dad now, and there was a lot of drama a couple of years ago. There is a family feud, and Harriet was not being very nice to mum, and it was very upsetting," Maddie disclosed. The sisters went on to suggest that Harriet's participation in Clarkson's Farm was merely a ploy to bolster her already sizable social media presence, critiquing this move as "sad and desperate" while accusing the television personality of being "obsessed with herself". Clarkson's Farm beauty Harriet Cowan hits back at sexist stereotypes, saying ‘Not all farmers are 60 year old men'

HARRIET Cowan has hit back at sexist stereotypes after joining the cast of Clarkson's Far. The blonde beauty is the newest addition to the selection of farm hands that help out Jeremy Clarkson on his 1,000 acre Oxfordshire site. 9 9 9 In series four of the show, the former Grand Tour star needed help to run Diddly Squat. His trusted right-hand man Kaleb Cooper was touring the country with his one-man show, The World According to Kaleb. As the farm hand travelled around the UK meeting his adoring fans, life became difficult for Jezza on Clarkson's Farm. Jeremy became overwhelmed as he tried to operate machinery, drive his new tractors, and deal with the animals with little success. So he brought in Derbyshire native Harriet, who got stuck right into farm life. When Kaleb eventually returned, although he was wary at first, they soon became acquainted as they developed a friendship. They even helped each other deal with a particularly difficult pig as Jeremy stood back. Harriet has received plenty of attention since her appearance on the show, and she says she wants to challenge farming stereotypes. She told The BBC: "I think when you talk to somebody and ask what they stereotypically think of when someone says farmer they say '60-year-old man with a checked shirt and a beer belly', "A lot of the time that is it, but us women are out here and farmers too. Clarkson's Farm's Kaleb Cooper REPLACED by glam new farmhand in new series - as Jeremy's Top Gear co-star makes cameo "Just because I'm a small, blonde that likes to curl her hair and wear make-up, it doesn't mean I can't be a farmer." She added: "I'm trying to change the norm of the man being the farmer and the woman being the stay-at-home wife and cook. "When the war was on, women did all the farming, so we have always farmed - it's just changing that stereotype." Initially, the blonde bombshell was approached to join the Amazon Prime programme by another fan favourite, land agent Charlie Ireland. Who is Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper? By Conor O'Brien Hailing from Chipping Norton, farmer Kaleb Cooper shot to fame by appearing in Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm. The hit show follows Jeremy Clarkson in his journey managing Diddly Squat Farm - which he'd owned since 2008. Born and bred in the area, Kaleb has become Jeremy's right-hand man and sort of farming mentor. Viewers have watched the pair light-heartedly 'clash' - with Kaleb usually ridiculing Jeremy's efforts. Three series have aired - with a fourth on the way - significantly raising Kaleb's public profile. Away from the screen, the farmer is also a father to two young children But it turns out, that she might not have known what she was signing up for, as she admitted that she had not even watched a single instalment of the factual reality show. Harriet revealed: "It worked so much better I think because I didn't know what to expect. I just went out and did what I'd do on my farm. "Every farm is slightly different but at the end of the day you all have the same goal. You're there to farm the land and look after your animals." She didn't even watch Top Gear growing up, so she looked at Jeremy as just another farm owner. "Jeremy was no different," Harriet revealed. "He's the same as every other farmer I know. "He just wanted to achieve something with his farm and look after his animals and get the best out of it." She added: "Growing up, I never watched Top Gear and we don't watch a lot of TV, so he was just another farmer for me. Flat peak cap and a checked shirt. "Genuinely, that man just wants to achieve something with his farm. He really does want to learn as well, which is the best bit for me." Meet the cast of Clarkson's Farm Clarkson's Farm began streaming in 2021 and follows Jeremy Clarkson and his team managing Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds. Here's a 'who's who' of faces in the Clarkson's Farm cast. Jeremy Clarkson: Presenter and journalist; also known for Top Gear, The Grand Tour and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
