Medical examiner called to ATV crash in Harrison County, 1 hospitalized
WALLACE, (WBOY) — One person was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon following an ATV crash near Wallace. Officials with the Harrison County 911 Center told 12 News that at 4:16 p.m., crews were alerted to a vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment near the 7900 block of Jones Run Road in rural Harrison County. Mary Lou Retton arrested for DUI in West Virginia Details surrounding the crash are limited, but officials said an ATV-type vehicle was involved and that the West Virginia Medical Examiner was dispatched to the scene. Crews had cleared the scene as of 7:30 p.m. One person was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment. Crews with the Folsom Volunteer Fire Department, Lumberport Volunteer Fire Department, Wallace Volunteer Fire Department, Harrison County EMS, Taylor County EMS and the Harrison County Sheriff's Office all responded to the scene. Investigators said Ezell came into the store, showed a weapon and demanded money. She then got into a fight with an employee before leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of money. They said while investigators were on the scene, Ezell came back to ask about a cellphone she dropped during the robbery. She was then identified as the suspect and taken into custody.
