Authorities are investigating reports of shots fired near an apartment complex in Harrison Township Monday night, a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed. Child hospitalized, 2 apartment units sustain $50K in damages from apartment fire
A child is recovering after a kitchen fire in Montgomery County Tuesday night. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Harrison Township firefighters responded just after 8:30 p.m. to an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Palisades Drive, according to Fire Chief Mike Crist. As previously reported by News Center 7, everyone got out of the apartment quickly. Firefighters quickly got the fire under control. Medics treated the child 'for respiratory complications from smoke inhalation.' The Red Cross was called to assist after the fire forced out residents in two apartment units, Chief Crist told News Center 7. They are estimating $50,000 in damages from the fire. Water main break closes part of Metro Parkway in Macomb County
A section of Metropolitan Parkway in Macomb County, Michigan, was closed to traffic Tuesday morning because of a water main break. Macomb County issued an alert at 6:45 a.m. that westbound Metropolitan Parkway is closed between Jefferson Avenue and L'anse Creuse Street until further notice because of the water main issue. This normally is a busy traffic area in Harrison Township

Authorities are investigating a reported aggravated robbery in Montgomery County Sunday morning, a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.
