SILVER Advisory issued for 82-year-old Harrisonville man with Alzheimer's
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A SILVER Advisory has been issued by the Harrisonville Police Department for a missing 82-year-old man last seen Friday morning, June 13. Police say that Richard Stuckey was last seen at 2308 Twin Oaks Drive in Harrisonville, Missouri, around 9:45 a.m. Stuckey was recently moved to Harrisonville from his home in Kearney, Missouri and reportedly told others he was going back home. Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe activates National Guard, declares State of Emergency However, police say that he hasn't been seen at his previous Kearney home. Stuckey's vehicle, a silver 2011 Ford Edge with Missouri license plates JC0D4R, was last seen on I-49 southbound near Archie, Missouri. Stuckey stands about 5'8″ tall, weighs around 160 pounds and is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He has gray hair, brown eyes and is thought to be wearing a dark plaid shirt and black pants. Harrisonville police attempting to locate missing mother, infant daughter
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The is asking the public for help in attempting to locate a 43-year-old woman and her 18-month-old infant daughter. Police say on March 15, a family member reported Kristi Pollington and Rosemary Murphy missing. KCK woman arrested after chase through west Lawrence According to police, Pollington is not known to have transportation. Family and friends have not heard from her and her last known cell number is not accepting calls. Police said on March 20, a temporary custody order was granted to the infant's father. On Wednesday, March 26, Harrisonville police officers were able to confirm that Pollington left a Harrisonville residence with rosemary on Feb. 14 with an unknown means and direction of travel, according to police. Polliington is described as standing 5'10' with brown hair, green eyes, olive completion and that she like to wear thick framed reading glasses. Two charged in Harrisonville teen's overdose death
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Cass County prosecutors have charged two people in the overdose death of a Harrisonville teen last year. Jayden Charles House, 23, and Kalyn Marie Castro, 18, both of Harrisonville were charged Friday with endangering the welfare of a child involving death. House is also charged with delivery of a controlled substance to a minor. According to the Harrisonville Police Department, officers were called to the Thunderbird Apartments off E. Mechanic Street at 6:40 a.m. on a report of a male juvenile not breathing. When officers arrived on scene they located the teen victim unresponsive and immediately began life-saving measures. The victim was taken to the Cass Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. 'Fugitive Serial Killer' Kinne's cases closed, victim's family reacts Police identified the victim as 16-year-old Chase Smith, a sophomore at Harrisonville High School. Investigators learned that Smith had ingested fentanyl, causing his death, according to police. Police said House was arrested at a family member's residence in Harrisonville on Thursday morning and is currently being held in the Cass County Jail. Castro was arrested in Kansas later the same day and is awaiting extradition back to Cass County.
