EastEnders fans 'fuming' as soap confirms another dramatic affair
It was a dramatic night in EastEnders tonight as the soap confirmed yet another shock affair - and fans think they know exactly when the secret will be revealed It's been a dramatic time for relationships on Albert Square, and tonight's episode of EastEnders confirmed yet another shock affair in Walford. During tonight's episode, fans saw Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) struggle with her husband Peter Beale (Thomas Law), who hasn't been helping out with newborn son Jimmy after finding out he was blind. Cindy and Kathy Beale then stepped in to help - which led to a shocking revelation from Peter. Asked why he won't even pick Jimmy up, Peter exclaimed: "I can't look at him because it makes me angry. And I can't look at you because it's your fault." Kathy then butted in to tell her grandson he was out of order, but Peter was having none of it. "Why? Because the doctor said that her being as high as a kite is unlikely to be the cause? Well do any of you think it helped?" "She was meant to be protecting our son. My son is blind and I've got to pretend that his mum has nothing to do with the fact he'll never see my face," Peter exclaimed before storming out. A distressed Lauren then went out to find a drink, although Linda refused to serve her in the Vic, as did Gina in Harry's Barn. Zack then took her home - where he revealed all about being Barney's dad. As Lauren stood up to comfort him, things took a turn when she planted a kiss on his cheek, which led to the lips. It's not the first time the pair have explored a connection. Zack cheated on Whitney with her best friend Lauren weeks before her wedding with the revelation causing Whitney to call off the wedding and leave Walford. Now, fans think history is set to repeat itself at Lauren and Peter's wedding, should the day still go ahead. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: "I don't condone cheating but in this instance you can't blame Lauren especially after the way Peter was with her tonight .He was so selfish and you can't speak to an addict in that way. "She has slept with Zack before so I saw that coming It'll come out at the wedding #EastEnders." Another responded: "Zack is on a roll with ruining weddings then," with another agreeing: "He really is!" Others were left fuming with the soap after putting Zack and Lauren together once again. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan questioned: "Why did we need lauren and zack again? #eastenders," as another wrote: "I cannot believe we are doing this again with Lauren and Zack. Like are we being serious right now??????????? #EastEnders". Will this just be a one time thing or will the connection between Lauren and Zack go even deeper?

EastEnders split confirmed for major couple as a family is torn apart
It's been a difficult time for EastEnders' Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Peter Beale (Thomas Law) lately, but things are set to turn nasty between them next week when their relationship hits the rocks. The couple were devastated last month when doctors informed them that their baby son Jimmy had been born severely sight-impaired. Lauren initially blamed herself for Jimmy's diagnosis, believing it was caused by her painkiller addiction while she was pregnant, but gained a fresh perspective after some meaningful conversations with Stacey and Lily Slater (Lacey Turner and Lillia Turner). However, Peter's struggle to come to terms with the news is set to rip their family apart in forthcoming scenes. On Monday, an increasingly distant Peter dismisses Lauren's pleas to join her and local well-wishers in the Square, prompting his warring mum and gran Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) and Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) to put aside their feud to try and help the couple. But Lauren is left devastated when Peter later turns around and blames her for Jimmy's health. Peter's harsh words push recovering alcoholic Lauren to the brink of a relapse, and she heads to both The Vic and Harry's Barn for a drink but is refused service. After Peter finally bonds with his newborn son following Cindy's encouragement, he heads to the hospital without Lauren for an appointment about Jimmy, where he is warmed by an encounter with a fellow patient. However, Peter's positivity is quickly ruined when he returns home and discovers Lauren has almost relapsed. EastEnders' Peter rocked to the core by Lauren discovery - and it spells the end
Upcoming EastEnders episodes tease turmoil for Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Peter Beale's (Thomas Law) as their short-lived baby Joy turns into heartbreak. EastEnders fans have watched the couple's fractured love story for years – from the two being teen sweethearts, their journey to becoming a family has been anything but conventional. After welcoming baby boy Jimmy, just a few weeks ago, the pair have faced more turbulence than ever, finding out their newborn's sight is impaired. But, in a time where they should be a team, the cracks are showing, and their relationship is crumbling after a shocking discovery. Could this really be the end of Lauren and Peter? As Peter struggles to come to terms with Jimmy's diagnosis, he feels unable to bond with him but attempts to with support from Cindy. Lauren is overwhelmed as she's bombarded by well-wishers in the Square and begs Peter to join her, but he continues to dismiss her pleas. Cindy and Kathy join forces in an attempt to help the struggling couple, but things spiral as Peter admits he blames Lauren and her addiction for Jimmy's health. Lauren, stunned and devastated, heads to The Vic and Harry's Barn, desperate for a drink, but is refused by both Linda and Gina, refusing to let her relapse. Cindy helps Peter with Jimmy, as Lauren is a no-show after staying out all evening. EastEnders fans spot 'huge blunder' in Teddy's plan to save Nicola Mitchell from murder charge
In tonight's episode of EastEnders - Teddy Mitchell was seen trying to save Nicola from being caught for the murder of Shireen - but fans have spotted a huge blunder in his plan It was another dramatic night in EastEnders tonight as Nicola and Teddy Mitchell continued their plan to get Nicola off the hook for the murder of Shireen. Teddy, who is aware that Nicola at least ordered Shireen's killing, was seen stopping his ex-wife from digging up Shireen's body in Paradise Park last night. As Nicola attempted to dig up Shireen's body while revealing why she killed her, Teddy could be seen running up to Nicola as he told her: "If we are going to fix this, you need to do exactly what I tell you to do, OK?" In tonight's episode, Teddy offered hitman Benji £60,000 to move Shireen's body, however he wasn't having any of it, demanding £150,000 instead. A stressed Nicola told Teddy they should sell Harry's Barn, something that devastated Teddy. However, Phil Mitchell then offered to lend Teddy £100,000 to help get him out whatever mess he was in. At the end of the episode, Benji was seen attempting to dig up Shireen's body, before he was surrounded by police. "It's Nicola Mitchell you want!" he could be heard screaming to the police as they took him away. The camera then panned to Teddy, who could be seen looking on from his car. Therefore, it's presumed Teddy was the one who set him up. However, fans have been left confused by his plan, stating that it really wasn't clever at all. Taking to Reddit to discuss the episode, one fan penned: "Calling the police is dumb surely? He [Benji] told his associates that he'd gone to meet Nicola and now he's suddenly been arrested? They'll come after them now?" Another responded: "Yeah, like where tf is the logic here? Nicola's bracelet is buried with Shireen. Teddy was adamant he didn't want to hurt Harry but Shireen turning up dead will do that, especially when they find mummy dearests bracelet. "Basically, Teddy had just blown this wide open. I wonder if it's something to do with his chat with Phil that he's thrown Nicola under the bus?" A third replied: "Unless somehow, using the magic of time travel, Teddy went and dug up the body, got the bracelet back, reburied it and then phoned the police?" A fourth agreed: "I thought this. The only way I can square it is that Teddy thinks throwing Nicola under the bus and getting Benji arrested will protect the kids, but surely if anything it's putting the spotlight back on Harry if he's there shouting about the Mitchells." He quickly comes up with a plan, pausing work at the site while they do a deal with Benji. Nic decides to sell Harry's Barn, but Teddy finds another solution – which has devastating consequences when an intruder ambushes her in the bar. 2. The teens organise a get together, with Joel teasing Tommy about his lack of experience with girls. After giving him some troubling advice, he buys weed for Avani and gatecrashes her day with Barney. When she's out of the room, he makes a disgusting comment about her and an argument escalates. As they share the drugs, Joel makes a move on Avani. 3. Priya is furious to hear that the complaint won't be taken any further and marches down to the police station for further action. Callum is forced to intervene, and she lashes out again at the officers when she bumps into them on a night out with Ravi. The following day, Suki tells her that she must apologise for her behaviour. 4. Johnny tells Elaine that he'd like something serious with Felix, but is disheartened when he tells him that he already has another date. When it doesn't go to plan, Johnny prepares to confess his feelings – when the Knight clan burst in! 5. Harry gives Kojo some dating advice, but is left wondering about his own love life. He asks Kojo to put in a good word for him with Gina, and is surprised when she agrees to a drink. 6. John listens into Nate's voicemail, but is startled when a call comes through from Cain. In a panic, he accidentally answers. Cain is left wondering about his son's wellbeing and decides, after encouragement from Moira, to head to Shetland. 7. Steph lies during her rhinoplasty consultation and secures an appointment for her nose job. She tells Caleb and Ruby that she's booked a last minute holiday, but when they can't track the flight number, find out the truth through her emails. They desperately try to stop her from undergoing plastic surgery, and she later lashes out at Ross. 8. Sarah tells Vanessa that she wants a baby, not a boyfriend. Manpreet strongly advises that IVF may not be a feasible option due to her condition, but she won't listen. Vanessa urges Sarah to come clean to her granny Charity. 9. Chas and Liam are in disbelief when PC Swirling updates them on his attack. Ella has a solid alibi, and can't have been responsible – and they're no further forward in discovering the truth. 10. Little Evan is rushed to hospital and a guilt-ridden Billy blames himself. Dawn is on hand to comfort him through the troubling time. 11. Daisy learns that Jenny intends to use her dad's shares to invest in Dom's sham company. Daniel becomes suspicious of Christina as Daisy finds Jenny in a state of despair. The following day, Daisy says her goodbyes and prepares to make an explosive exit. Jenny begs her not to leave, but she's already made her escape plan. 12. Abi can see that Carl is bothered, and he confesses that he wished he'd spent more time with Kevin prior to his cancer diagnosis. Abi assures Carl that she's pleased to have him around, and he pulls her in for a kiss. 13. The neurologist confirms that Debbie has vascular dementia, but can continue as normal for the time being. She tells Carl that she's not ready to tell her family, but things are put into perspective when she meets a woman with dementia outside the clinic. She's shocked when Ronnie reveals that he's put an offer in on No. 6. 14. Betsy refuses to go back to college and is adamant that Carla is playing Lisa. Lauren confesses to Bobby that she took the van and let Betsy take the rap, and is now receiving threatening texts. Carla is shocked to see that Betsy can use her arm, and decides to alert Lisa. She lets the matter slide, and is shocked when Tracy makes it clear that she wants paying for the damage to her van. 15. Gary tells Maria that he's thinking of selling the furniture shop and buying the builder's yard – but she isn't sure that they can afford it. Mick encourages him to do what's best for the family, and the pair enjoy a celebratory 'new venture' drink. She tells Gary that he's made a wrong move by employing Mick, with the brutish neighbour later stepping into an altercation at the precinct involving Liam. 16. Eileen slips in the kitchen and is dismayed when George palms her off onto Brian. The next day, Brian calls with a wheelchair for Julie. She puts on a brave face as she battles her agony, and is wheeled into the pub. Later, Julie lets slip to a worried George that Eileen is bored with their relationship. 17. Leela tells Joel that the must force Tommy to back off, or they'll expose his illegal activities. He agrees to leave them alone if they stay out of his way, much to Joel's relief. 18. The Blakes and McQueens gather for John Paul and Jez's engagement party, but Sienna is distracted, trying to work out who drugged her. Dodger confronts Grace, thinking that she is responsible. Jez thinks that it's someone close to her – and Martha devises a plan to frame Cleo. Disaster strikes when Myra doubles over in pain. 19. Ste also receives a medical emergency when he hears that Lucas has collapsed while babysitting baby James. He and Sienna jump in the car, but her vision blurs – she can't feel her legs. Jez is a broken man when he hears that his daughter is suffering temporary paralysis again. Accusations fly as Rex accuses Grace of being responsible for Lucas' condition. Cleo is devastated when Sienna accepts her family's fabricated story, desperately pleading for her to believe the truth. 20. Donny confronts Rex, knowing that he sent the anonymous text. Rex warns him about DI Banks, with Grace urging her brother to stay quiet for the sake of his life. Donny uncovers the truth about the illegal operation and confronts Alistair in The Dog car park. 21. Wendy continues to contemplate whether teaching is for her, and is disheartened to hear that the permanent position at E High is no longer available. However, a new job offer in Murrayville soon arrives, and she poses the idea of her family leaving Ramsay Street. Andrew shuts down the proposal, and a vicious row erupts. 22. Fallon demands that Taye gives her the 10k back, and the perfect solution soon to his monetary woes arises. Byron introduces him to one of his former escorting clients, and he slyly hands her his number. He rushes off to meet the girl, Lydia, but is way out of his comfort zone.
