Trump should know: You shouldn't tear someone down to make yourself look bigger

On May 21, we again witnessed our president attack another country's president. This time it was the leader of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa ('Trump pushes false white genocide claims,' May 22). Just as he did in February with Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, he surrounded himself with people he knows are too afraid to be the adult in the room. In a premeditated and deliberate move, he attacked a man who only wanted a peaceful discussion on trade and economic investment. I find this bullying reprehensible. If your child acted like this, you would punish or at the very least correct the bad behavior, not reward and applaud it. I do not believe in tearing down others to make yourself look bigger. That is certainly not the way to "make America great again." Michael Bauer, Hartland Letters: We should commend MPS superintendent for creative plan to reduce office staff Letters: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is wrong about autism destroying families. Each has value. Opinion: My kids shouldn't have to navigate race in sports. Let them play and be free. Here are some tips to get your views shared with your friends, family, neighbors and across our state: Please include your name, street address and daytime phone. In-state commit schedules official visit to Michigan State football

Michigan State football earned the walk-on commitment from Jack Lansing, a 3-star linebacker from Hartland (MI) earlier this month. Now, the in-state product has scheduled his official visit to Michigan State. Lansing, a 6'0" and 200 pound linebacker that plays at Hartland High School, is a highly valued walk-on commitment, ranking very high for a walk-on as an 84 rated 3-star according to 247Sports. While he may begin as a preferred walk-on, the opportunity to begin his career on scholarship or gain a scholarship while on campus is still very much a possibility. Advertisement The Spartans value in-state recruiting, and adding a prospect like Lansing shows their importance on making sure no prospect falls through the cracks on their watch. Lansing's trip to East Lansing will be starting on June 20.
