Amran: Distribution of school bag project for martyrs' Children
Amran - Saba: The branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in Amran province launched on Saturday a project to distribute school bags and textbooks to the children of martyrs across various districts of the province, coinciding with the start of the 1447 AH academic year. During the launch, Governorate Deputy Hassan Al-Ashqas and the educational sector official in the province, Zaid Rattaas, praised the Authority's initiative, which aims to alleviate the burdens on martyrs' families and encourage their children to enroll in education. They commended the efforts of those responsible for caring for martyrs' families, their hard work, and their dedication to supporting the martyrs' children. Both officials emphasized the commitment to supporting and encouraging the children of martyrs, giving them priority in recognition of their families' sacrifices in defending the nation. Meanwhile, the Director of the Martyrs' Authority branch in Amran, Ibrahim Al-Nono, explained that the project includes the distribution of over 5,117 school bags to the children of martyrs and missing persons in the province center and its districts. He noted that each school bag contains all necessary supplies and the first-semester curriculum, stressing that the project is part of the Authority's annual activities, reflecting its commitment to supporting martyrs' children as a minimal gesture of gratitude for the martyrs' sacrifices and heroism. The launch was attended by the Director of the Grievances Authority branch, Al-Qasim Al-Mahram; the Director of Amran District, Abdulrahman Al-Ammad; the Education Director of Amran District, Jamal Al-Qadi; and his deputy, Yahya Al-Houthi. Following the launch, a meeting was held, chaired by the Director of the Martyrs' Care Authority branch in the province, Ibrahim Al-Nono, and attended by the Authority's representatives in the districts, to discuss the mechanism for distributing school bags to martyrs' children in the districts. During the meeting, the Authority's educational official, Amin Al-Tammah, reviewed the tasks of the representatives during the distribution process. Amran Education Sector organizes seminar commemorating Imam Hussein martyrdom
Amran - Saba: The Education Sector in Amran province organized a cultural seminar on Saturday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). During the seminar, Amran province Deputy Hassan Al-Ashqas and Education Sector official Zaid Rattas emphasized the importance of adhering to the values and principles for which Imam Hussein bin Ali (peace be upon them) sacrificed. They highlighted the need to draw lessons from the stance of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) in supporting truth, his patience, steadfastness, and sacrifice in confronting tyrants and oppressors. Al-Ashqas and Rattas pointed out that the tragedy of Karbala was a consequence of the Ummah's deviation from the path of truth, its hesitation, weak faith, and lack of insight. Meanwhile, cultural activist Saleh Al-Zafani delivered a lecture discussing the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and its significance as a tragedy for the Islamic Ummah. He described this occasion as a spiritual milestone to reinforce the values of patience, steadfastness in truth, confronting falsehood, rejecting submission to the enemies of the Ummah, correcting its current state, and strengthening its resilience against global forces of evil. Al-Zafani also stressed the importance of following the example of Imam Hussein's revolution in continuing to resist and sacrifice to confront global aggression and arrogance, supporting the Palestinian people and Islamic sanctities until victory is achieved. Discussing market surveillance campaign's plan in Amran
Amran - Saba: A meeting at the Office of Economy, Industry and Investment in Amran province , chaired on Tuesday by Governor Dr. Faisal Jumaan, discussed the plan for the market surveillance campaign to be implemented in conjunction with the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. In the meeting, which included Deputy Governor Hassan Al-Ashqas, Director of Amran Directorate Abdulrahman Al-Emad, Director of the Martyrs' Families Authority branch Ibrahim Al-Nunu, and directors of the office's departments, the governor stressed the importance of taking the necessary measures to ensure the stability of markets during the holy month of Ramadan. Governor Jumaan praised the efforts of the office in field monitoring the markets. He pointed out the importance of intensifying efforts to control the markets, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, in order to achieve supply stability, prevent monopolies and stabilize prices according to what is approved by the ministry. For his part, the director of the office in the province, Ali Al-Hadi and his deputy, Mohammed Al-Qadi, reviewed the contents and objectives of the Ramadan campaign, its executive program and the mechanism of forming the main and sub-committees with the aim of activating the control performance on the markets , achieving food and price stability.
