Dundee United closing in on Julius Eskesen transfer as timeline for latest Jim Goodwin arrival revealed The Haugesund midfielder is out of contract at the end of the year and will offer another midfield option at Tannadice Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin Dundee United are closing in on a move for Haugesund midfielder Julius Eskesen. United also have to wait on the outcome of Isaac Pappoe's knee injury. The midfielder, who is on-loan from Ferencvaros, suffered the injury in the first-leg draw with Rapid Vienna. United are waiting for the results of a scan of Pappoe's scan on that which is due over the 48 hours. Burundi hand first call up to Norwegian-based striker Mvuka
Burundi handed a first call up to Norwegian-based striker Bertran Nishimwe Mvuka as coach Patrick Sangwa welcomed back several experienced internationals for the FIFA World Cup assignments over the next week. Burundi host African champions Cote d'Ivoire in Meknes, Morocco on Friday and then take on Seychelles at the same venue four days later. Burundi have seven points from four games in Group F and sit only three behind the Ivorians, who lead the standings.
