Two arrested after fight involving suspect's ex-husband in Baxter County
BAXTER COUNTY, Ark. — Deputies arrested two people who were allegedly involved in a fight involving a suspect's ex-husband and another woman staying at a residence in Baxter County early Monday morning.
Hayley Davis, 29, of rural Mountain Home, is charged with felony residential burglary and aggravated assault, as well as misdemeanor third-degree battery. Andrew Harkreader, 36, of Salesville, is charged with misdemeanor third-degree battery.
According to the Baxter County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), they arrived at a residence on Norfork River Road after 3 a.m. and contacted a man and a woman. They told deputies the ex-wife of the man, identified as 29-year-old Hayley Davis of Rural Mountain Home, came to the residence upset that the woman was staying there.
The victims said Davis got out of her vehicle with a tire iron and began swinging it at the male. The male victim fled back into the home, but Davis kicked down the front door. Davis then broke into a bathroom where the female was hiding, punching her in the head and pulling her hair. Harkreader also came into the home and restrained the male victim so he wouldn't be able to stop Davis, BCSO says.

Both Davis and Harkreader then went outside, where the victims believed they heard a gunshot. However, no firearm was found, HCSO says. Deputies later arrived at the scene and searched the area for the two suspects.
Harkreader was found in the area of the residence and was taken into custody at approximately 5:50 a.m. Davis was later located at a home on Winterberry Drive in Salesville after being picked up by a motorist and was taken into custody near Boggs Drive at approximately 8:46 a.m.
Both suspects were booked into the Baxter County Detention Center. Davis is being held on a $25,000 bond and will appear in court on July 21, while Harkreader is held with a $500 bond and will appear in court on August 14.
