Gigi Hadid's $950 Date Night Flats Look Just Like This Under-$50 Style on Amazon
Gigi Hadid could step out in a garbage bag and I'd be sprinting to CVS for Heavy Duty Glad like it's a sample sale steal. It's the supermodel effect. Just last month, the Guest in Residence creative director casually revived flip-flops by pairing signature Havaianas with an embellished Marc Jacobs mini dress (sold). And now? She's doubling down on divisive footwear with another controversial pick—which, of course, I feel compelled to immediately cop: mesh ballet flats. Apparently, toes are getting a lot of screen time this summer.
Gigi was photographed in the style alongside boyfriend Bradley Cooper while arriving at COTE Korean Steakhouse in New York City for an A-list double date with Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon. She wore the Alaïa fishnet flats with crinkled silk track pants, a plain white tee, and Levi's denim jacket. And while Gigi's version is sold-out (and, ahem, $950), I found a nearly identical style (down to the details!) that could pass as the same pair. Only difference? These are just $50 on Amazon.
Just like the designer iteration, the Amazon flats have a white mesh and matching Mary Jane strap with silver buckle hardware. The material itself is a stretchy vegan leather—including on both the insole and lining—and there's a slip-resistant outsole, which offers 10/10 grip and traction. Not to mention, they're soooo comfy, according to shoppers.
