Browns officially sign quarterback to rookie contract
BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) — The Cleveland Browns have officially signed QB Dillon Gabriel to his 4-year rookie contract.
Gabriel was selected by Cleveland in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft at No. 94 overall out of Oregon.
During his college career, he appeared in 64 career games at Oregon (2024), Oklahoma (2022-23) and Central Florida (2019-21).
Last season, Gabriel was named a Heisman Trophy Finalist and Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year after completing piling up a career-high 3,857 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also added seven rushing touchdowns.
Gabriel finished his collegiate career as the FBS all-time leader in total touchdowns with 189.
The Browns have now signed six of their seven picks from the 2025 NFL Draft.
The lone rookie that is currently unsigned is running back Quinshon Judkins, who was selected in the second round out of Ohio State.
