‘666 Operation Dream Theatre': Shivarajkumar embraces the retro style in Hemanth M Rao's film
The makers of 666 Operation Dream Theatre have released a second-look poster of Shivarajkumar from the movie on the occasion of the actor's birthday. The Kannada movie is directed by Hemanth M Rao and stars Dhananjaya in the lead role. In his first look from the movie, Shivarajkumar was in an intense mode. With a sharp moustache and slicked-back hair, the Kannada superstar appeared in a dark suit. The second look portrays Shivarajkumar in a white retro suit, pointing a pistol. 'The Maze is his playground. The Theatre King. Wishing our legend, our beloved @NimmaShivanna a very happy birthday. What a feeling to direct you, sir,' Hemanth wrote on X (formerly Twitter). What a feeling to be directing you sir. ❤️❤️ #666OperationDreamTheatre# — Hemanth M Rao (@hemanthrao11) July 12, 2025 The posters of Shivarajkumar seem like a nod to his father, Dr Rajkumar's classic CID 999 spy thrillers. Last month, the makers had released the first look of Dhananjaya. The movie is likely to be a blend of crime, action and science-fiction, though details of the plot are yet to be announced. 'The film promises to be a gripping cinematic experience blending intensity with layered narratives, set in a 70s-inspired style, and carrying the signature of Hemanth's craft,' the makers had said in a release. Adding to the curiosity, the makers have dropped the first look of Dhananjaya, and he is all swag. Unveiled in two distinct avatars, the posters bring a stylised character. The first, a close-up drenched in retro tones, shows Dhananjaya with an intense look, composed yet hinting at chaos, evoking the magnetism of a secret agent with a plan. The second is a full-bodied blast from the past featuring Dhananjaya with a Tommy gun, eyes gleaming with playful rage, exuding timeless cool.
