Former Mishicot teacher Ryan Schroeder faces 2 federal charges of producing child porn

MANITOWOC – Ryan S. Schroeder, a former Mishicot High School physical education teacher and track and cross country coach, has been indicted on two federal charges of producing child porn. The indictment has been sealed to the public and no hearings are scheduled in his case yet. The charges were filed May 20. Schroeder, 37, is already facing 19 felonies in Manitowoc County Circuit Court related to sexually assaulting a student at Mishicot High School while he was a teacher and coach. According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement claims Schroeder admitted to sexually assaulting a student more than 50 times over a period of two years. He was arrested April 16 after an investigation that started when Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office received reports of alleged inappropriate behavior with students.
