Sana'a (Saba) - The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, with support from the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund, organized a military music parade to celebrate the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen on May 22. The military music bands, which set out from Bab al-Yemen, passed through al-Zubairi Street, and then reached Tahrir Square in the capital, played pieces of national anthems expressing the greatness of Yemeni unity, the parade concluded with the national anthem of the Republic of Yemen. Ministry of Culture & Tourism's Folk Arts Festival continues in Sana'a

Sana'a - Saba: For the third consecutive day, the Folk Arts Performances Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in celebration of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen (May 22), continues in Liberation Square in the capital, Sana'a. The third day of the four-day festival, supported by the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund, featured performances of Hadhrami heritage accompanied by traditional chants (Zamils) expressing Yemeni unity, the importance of upholding it, preserving it, and defending it. The performances also reaffirmed the Yemeni people's solidarity with the Palestinian cause and their support for Gaza in the face of the occupying Zionist entity. The third day of the festival was marked by a large public turnout, with attendees expressing their joy over Yemen's National Day (May 22), achieved through the will and determination of Yemenis across the north, south, east, and west of the nation—despite immense challenges and decades-long conspiracies targeting Yemen's sovereignty and independence. It is worth noting that the festival, held under the slogan "From Sana'a to Gaza," will showcase folkloric and heritage performances from various Yemeni provinces and regions, supervised, directed, and produced by the renowned artist Ali Al-Mahmoudi. Sana'a - Saba: The activities of the folk arts performance festival continue for the second day in Tahrir Square in the capital, Sana'a, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in celebration of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22. The performances on the second day of the festival, which lasts for four days and is supported by the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund, included segments of Tihama's heritage accompanied by Zawamil expressing the Yemeni unity and the importance of adhering to it, preserving it, and defending it, as well as expressing the Yemeni people's support for the Palestinian cause and their solidarity with Gaza in facing the occupying Zionist entity. It is noteworthy that during the days of the festival, which is held under the slogan (From Sana'a to Gaza), a number of folkloric and heritage performances from various governorates and regions of Yemen will be presented, alongside the Bara'a dances accompanied by Zawamil expressing the significance of resisting the forces of domination and arrogance and their tools among agents and normalizers. Culture & Tourism minister checks on Health of theater actor Mohammed Muaiadh

Sana'a - Saba: The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafai, visited on Monday to check on the health of theater and television actor Mohammed Muqbil Muaiadh, who has been suffering from an illness. Dr. Al-Yafai affirmed that the visit reflects the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to care for intellectuals, artists, creators and to address their conditions. He praised Muaiadh's role in portraying a positive image of Yemeni art and authentic Yemeni traditions through his television and theater works, in which he participated with professionalism, competence, and creativity. The minister also commended Muaiadh's courageous national stances. Minister Al-Yafai emphasized the ministry's leadership standing with Muaiadh and all Yemeni artists and creators, providing whatever support and assistance possible. He presented him with a financial medical aid from the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund, wishing him a speedy recovery. In turn, theater and television actor Muaiadh expressed his gratitude for the minister's visit, which reflects the ministry's leadership's concern for Yemeni artists. He considered the visit a reassuring message from the ministry's leadership, demonstrating its closeness to artists , creators and its commitment to supporting them in alleviating their hardships amid the current circumstances facing the country. Heritage, cultural development fund organizes poetry morning in solidarity with Gaza

Sana'a - Saba: The Heritage and Cultural Development Fund in the capital Sana'a organized on Wednesday a poetry morning in solidarity with Gaza against the American-Zionist aggression. Poets al-Harith bin al-Fadl, Khalida al-Nasiri, and Badi' al-Zaman al-Sultan presented poems expressing solidarity with Palestinians, denouncing Zionist crimes and Arab silence, and highlighting the unity of the Yemeni and Palestinian cause and support for Operation "Flood of al-Aqsa. The poets praised Yemen's stance in supporting Palestine. Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei commended the poems' "jihadist spirit" and solidarity, praising the leadership's and people's support for Palestine. The Minister noted the event was part of ongoing cultural activities in solidarity with Gaza and criticized Arab normalization and apathy towards the "genocide" in Gaza, attributing some poets' disengagement to campaigns promoting Iran as a greater threat than Israel.
