Jim Jefferies brings Son of a Carpenter tour to Glasgow
The internationally acclaimed comedian, actor, and writer is set to perform at the SEC Armadillo on November 7. Tickets for the show are currently on sale at Jefferies, known for his sharp, belief-challenging, and deeply personal brand of comedy, will be entertaining fans across the UK in September and November. Since then, he has become a global comedy figure, known for his provocative and thought-provoking humour. The special features Jefferies' reflections on newly married life, the laziness of koala bears, male pattern baldness injustices, and his decision to quit drinking. Jefferies has also starred in the FX series Legit, which he co-created and produced, and hosted Comedy Central's The Jim Jefferies Show from 2017 to 2019, which was lauded for its bold takes on politics and culture. In 2019, he was named Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival. Currently, Jefferies is hosting FOX's reality show, The Snake, and will star in Jordan Peele's production, Him, alongside Tyriq Withers, Marlon Wayans, and Julia Fox, set to release in September. Fans can also look forward to his new Netflix special, Jim Jefferies: Town Limb Policy, premiering worldwide on August 12.

Jefferies has released ten stand-up specials, including five Netflix hits. His latest, titled High & Dry, finds him reflecting on newly married life. Jefferies is currently hosting FOX reality show The Snake The programme sees contestants using their training, charm, and powers of persuasion as they face fear-inducing challenges designed to showcase their true colours. Meanwhile Graham Norton is making a surprise presenting return for a one-off special in Scotland this month. The Irish TV chat show host, 62, will be back on Virgin Radio's mid-morning slot with a live show. The show will air from 10am to 1pm in front of a live audience at the vibrant Commons Club Bar inside Virgin Hotels Edinburgh on Victoria Street. Norton stepped down from his weekend show at the radio station last year.
