GSICC Hyderabad hosts gender awards; ACJ Sujoy Paul stresses equality; calls to fight bias at workplace

HYDERABAD: The High Court Gender Sensitisation and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC), Hyderabad, held its "Award Distribution Event for 2023-2025" at the Advocates' Association Hall in the High Court premises. The event was aimed at celebrating initiatives to promote gender sensitisation and raise awareness about preventing sexual harassment in the workplace. Senior legal officials were also present. The Acting Chief Justice quoted, "Yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra devata" (Where women are honoured, divinity resides), stressing the need to combat gender bias by recognising it, identifying its manifestations, and eradicating it firmly."
