Minister for Revenue and Housing K. Rajan, who presided over the event, described the expo as a transparent progress report of the government, open to the public without any exaggeration or filters. The event served as a platform to showcase Kerala's development model to the world, he said. Held at Thekkinkadu Maidan, the seven-day exhibition drew massive crowds. The event offered a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the achievements of the past nine years, brought to life through various stalls and digital experiences. Inspire students to become creators of new knowledge, teachers told
Teachers must inspire students to become creators of new knowledge, Higher Education and Social Justice Minister R. Bindu said on Friday. She was inaugurating an educational seminar titled 'Enquiry-2025', organised by the Kannur District Education and Training Centre at Shikshak Sadan. With the rise of information technology, acquiring knowledge had become easier than ever, the Minister noted. 'But this knowledge should be harnessed to generate new ideas that benefit society and humanity,' she said. In the light of alleged attempts to distort historical and scientific truths, she urged teachers to remain alert and uphold integrity in education. 'Teaching must be redefined in the changing context, where classrooms are no longer the sole sources of knowledge,' Dr. Bindu said. MLA K.V. Sumesh presided over the function. District panchayat president K.K. Ratnakumar was the guest of honour. Retiring DIET principal V.V. Premarajan and senior lecturer K.K. Santhosh Kumar were felicitated.
