Save the date: 2025 Highland Jazz and Blues Fest
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—The Highland Area Partnership has announced the date for a jazz festival that has been held in Shreveport since 2003.
The 21st annual Highland Jazz and Blues Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13. This year's fest will celebrate the music, culture, and community of Shreveport.
Musicians and bands interested in performing at the festival must apply by Mar. 21.
The festival, held yearly at Columbia Park in Shreveport, features established and emerging artists.
Columbia Park paves the way for a more accessible city
Students in 11th and 12th grades are encouraged to enter the festival's poster contest. The winning design will be featured as the festival's official souvenir poster. The poster's artist will also receive media recognition and a $500 cash prize.
The poster submission deadline is Mar. 21.
The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival is sponsored by the Highland Area Partnership, a 501(c)3 organization that connects Shreveport residents through the arts, music, and food. Proceeds from the sale of t-shirts, posters, beverages, sponsorships, and donations finance the festival.
