Horry County police say ‘non-domesticated' animal involved in death of a person
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County police are investigating an 'animal-related incident' connected with the death of a person off Highway 746 near Loris.
Authorities said the incident involving a 'non-domesticated animal' and an adult relative of its owner happened late Friday night. Officials said the victim entered the animal's enclosure.
An autopsy has been ordered and the animal remains secure with no larger community threat.
