Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle on Hwy 88 in Bradford

Police in Bradford West Gwillimbury are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle Thursday night.
South Simcoe police officers and emergency crews responded to a report about a pedestrian collision on Highway 88 west of 10 Sideroad around 10:30 p.m.
Police say an unidentified male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver, who had been travelling west at the time of the collison, remained at the scene and is cooperating with officers.
Police say no further details will be disclosed at this time. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
