Royal Cavalry shines at Royal Windsor Horse Show in UK
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Royal Cavalry of the Royal Court Affairs (RCA), is proudly took part in the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show 2025, held at the stunning private grounds of Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom from May 15 to 18.
The participation commenced with a captivating multimedia presentation entitled 'Oman: Jewel of Arabia', produced by the Department of Communication and Media at the Royal Court Affairs. The visual showcased the Sultanate of Oman's unique cultural and natural heritage, reaffirming Oman's position as a global destination that bridges tradition and modernity.

The Royal Cavalry is presenting performances in traditional Omani equestrian arts, including Ardah riding 'traditional race', horse sitting and horse whispering. These displays have captivated the international audience, with riders and horses showcasing remarkable harmony and skill. Accompanied by the Royal Cavalry Band, audiences were treated to a medley of Omani, Arab, and international musical compositions that resonated powerfully throughout the arena.
In parallel with the cultural performances, the Royal Windsor Horse Show is hosting world-class competitions in show jumping, endurance, and dressage, in addition to carriage driving and pony parades, featuring participants from various countries.

WARM BRITISH RECEPTION
Colonel Toby Browne, Commander of the British Royal Cavalry and Director of the Royal Windsor Horse Show, expressed admiration for Oman's long-standing and esteemed participation:

This is the fifth time the Royal Cavalry has participated in the prestigious event.
FIFTH PARTICIPATION BY THE ROYAL CAVALRY
Eng Hilal bin Mohammed al Waeli, Head of Horses, Camels, Farms and Royal Gardens Affairs at the Royal Court Affairs, noted that 'This is the fifth time the Royal Cavalry has participated in the prestigious event. These international engagements highlight Oman's rich equestrian traditions and cultural heritage, and help promote the nation's deep-rooted association with horses.'

Dr Sarhan bin Salem al Zeedi, Director General of the Royal Cavalry, emphasised the high level of skill and dedication displayed by the riders: 'The performances underline the excellence and harmonious bond between our riders and their horses. This rapport has drawn admiration and acclaim from the international audience at Windsor.'
