Crown Prince directs to name Riyadh street after Dr. Motleb Al-Nafisah
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman has issued directives to name a street in the northern Hittin neighborhood of Riyadh after the late Dr. Motleb Al-Nafisah. The Crown Prince's directive comes in appreciation of Dr. Al-Nafisah's long years of outstanding services to his religion, his country, and the kings of Saudi Arabia over the past 60 years, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday. Dr. Al-Nafisah, who passed away on March 27, 2025, was one of the Kingdom's most loyal public servants, who served the nation with utmost dedication and sincerity. As a seasoned statesman with more than six decades of dedicated public service, he played a pivotal role in shaping many of the Kingdom's key legal and administrative frameworks. His distinguished career began in 1962 as a legal advisor at the Council of Ministers, and then became deputy director general at the Institute of Public Administration. He served as head of the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers for two decades. Dr. Al-Nafisah also served as member of the Supreme Economic Council, the Civil and Military Service Councils, and multiple ministerial committees, before becoming minister of state and member of the Council of Ministers until the time of death.
