Four people and toddler in hospital after Shropshire car crash
Five people, including a toddler, have been taken to hospital after a two vehicle crash on Wednesday Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to Holyhead Road, Bicton, near Shrewsbury at 20:16 BST where two cars had been involved in a women and a female toddler were treated for potentially serious injuries, while two men were treated for injuries not thought to be were all taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by road. Three suffer potentially life-threatening injuries in Wednesbury house fire
A house fire left three people fighting for life. Fire crews were called to Holyhead Road in Wednesbury just after 3am today, Sunday, May 11. A man and woman, both in their 80s, were rushed to hospital following the blaze. READ MORE: Band forced to interrupt Birmingham gig after fan seriously injured in fall All three suffered potentially life-threatening injuries, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said. A spokesperson for the force added: "We were called following a fire at an address on Holyhead Road, Wednesbury at around 3.15am this morning. "A man and a woman in their 80s and a third man in his 50s have been taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. " The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. The police spokesperson continued: "We are working alongside fire service investigators to establish the cause of the blaze." West Midlands Fire Service shared news of the blaze on social media site X just before 4am. They said: "Crews from Bilston, Wednesbury and Tipton are in attendance at Holyhead Road, Wednesbury, where they have responded to House Fire. "Please avoid the area, where possible." Four people taken to hospital after Wednesbury house fire
Four people were taken to hospital after a house fire in the early hours of the were called to Holyhead Road, Wednesbury, at 03:08 BST on Midlands Fire Service said it sent three crews from Bilston, Wednesbury and Tipton to tackle the fire.A spokesperson confirmed four people were treated by paramedics at the scene and then taken to hospital. The fire service were unable to confirm if they were still there or how serious their injuries were. West Midlands Ambulance Service has been contacted for more fire service said the blaze had been put out and its investigation team was now at the scene to try and find out the cause.
