Watch: Sheikh Mohammed visits Dubai mall, greets residents in Silicon Oasis
Have you been out and about in Dubai recently? You may just catch the Ruler of the emirate as you shop for groceries.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was seen at Dubai Silicon Central Mall on Thursday evening, walking casually yet again among residents with no visible armed security, a powerful reflection of the UAE's safety and stability.
The leader was seen taking the Dubai Tram and touring Deira's open air markets despite the heat, a few weeks ago. His genuine care for the residents of the city is reflected in his actions, as he takes time out of his busy schedule to inspect the fast-paced progress of the city.
Excited residents quickly began capturing videos of the Ruler as he strolled through the mall. Dressed impeccably as always, he visited multiple stores, including Home Box, X Beauty, and Lulu Hypermarket. He even greeted residents with a warm smile as he spotted them standing by as he walked past them.
Lulu Hypermarket later shared their delight, saying it was "a surprise that made our day" and that it inspires them to "keep raising the bar."
