Motorcyclist dies after colliding with utility pole in Lancaster County, troopers say
LANCASTER COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A motorcyclist has died following a late night crash in Lancaster County, SC Highway Patrol says. Shortly before 10 p.m. on Mar. 14, troopers responded to Taxahaw Road near Dahlia Road, east of Lancaster in response to a vehicle crash. Officials say the driver of a 2024 Honda CMX500 motorcycle was driving westbound before veering off the right side of the road and colliding with a utility pole. The driver died at the scene. Motorcycle rider killed in crash on SC road. Here's what we know
A motorcycle rider was killed in a Friday crash in Lancaster County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said. At about 10 p.m. on Friday, the driver of a 2024 Honda CMX 500 motorcycle veered off the road and collided with a utility pole, Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said. The accident occurred on Taxahaw Road near Dahlia Road, five miles east of Lancaster The motorcyclist, who died on the scene of the accident, was the only person involved, Butler said. The rider's identity has not been released by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.
