Hong Kong and UAE Strengthen Trade Ties Through Major Trade Fairs in October 2025
Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) continue to enjoy strong bilateral trade across various industries. Supporting this relationship, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is launching a series of major initiatives to help UAE companies explore new markets and opportunities. These exhibitions will bring together thousands of exhibitors and industry professionals from around the world, offering unmatched networking and business development opportunities.
As of November 2024, the UAE ranked as Hong Kong's 11th largest trading partner, with total trade valued at over USD 14.8 billion. More than 20 innovative Hong Kong tech companies will be featured, aiming to attract global investors and forge new partnerships in the Middle East.
The Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13–16 October, will showcase smart electronics, components, and digital solutions. In 2024, these fairs hosted over 3,200 exhibitors from 19 countries and attracted more than 60,000 buyers from 136 countries.
Key highlights for 2025 include: AI & Robotics Zone featuring brands like Ti5robot and PADBOT, with live demos at 'RoboPark.'
