‘Insane': Country star Zach Bryan mocked for dating ‘clone' of ex-girlfriend

The Barstool Sports founder expressed disbelief on Thursday's Unnamed Show episode over how much Samantha Leonard looks like Bryan's ex — and Portnoy's employee — Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia. Bryan, notably, was linked to Leonard last month when she included a photo of them at Spain's Running of the Bulls in an Instagram slideshow. Reddit users have since called her resemblance to LaPaglia 'actually crazy' and 'scary,' with one writing, 'This is what Kanye [West] did to Kim [Kardashian] with Bianca [Censori]. The exes dated from 2023 to 2024, with the BFFs podcast co-host accusing Bryan of emotional abuse after they called it quits. She also called out the Something in the Orange singer for allegedly trying to get her to sign an NDA for $18 million, which she refused. While Bryan has yet to comment on the allegations, he brought the breakup back into headlines last month by dissing LaPaglia in a TikTok comment. He insisted 'River Washed Hair' was not written about LaPaglia because she isn't 'sweet' — and subsequently shared a couple screenshots of texts she had sent him. Byran and his ex had a bitter public breakup. At the time, LaPaglia clapped back at her ex 'crashing out' and 'attacking' her while providing receipts of her own. She Googled 'how do i file a restraining order' on Monday when Bryan posted a video burning a Barstool Sports flag. LaPaglia has not debuted any new relationships since she and Bryan called it quits, telling Page Six in January that she is leaving 'all men' behind this year. Bryan, for his part, went public with Aussie Hannah Duncan in March, but their current status remains unclear. Prior to Chickenfry, the songwriter was married to Rose Madden from 2020 to 2021 and dated Deb Peifer from 2022 to 2023. When the 40-year-old reality star addressed the book's bombshell list of romantic liaisons on the podcast, host Amanda Hirsch asked, 'Who was, like, the best hook-up?' Shay replied, 'Shemar [Moore].' The other men the Bravolebrity confessed to sleeping with, notably, included John Mayer, Jesse Metcalfe, Jesse McCartney, Eddie Cibrian, JC Chasez and more. The pair were snapped deep in conversation at swish eaterie Le Violon. And The U.S. Sun has been told by two of Trudeau's close associates that he wants to see the singer, who has been described as a 'breath of fresh air,' again. Trudeau separated from Sophie, his wife of 18 years, in 2023 and, according to our insiders, loved talking about a variety of topics with the 40 year-old star. The U.S. Sun understands the pair have been in contact for weeks after meeting at an event, and both share a common interest in trying to make the world a better place. Trudeau had hoped a quiet night in Montreal would have helped make the night more private. But with pics of the pair appearing on TMZ, their secret is out. 'Justin always enjoys nice company, and Katy is the kind of woman that really caught his attention,' the first source who worked with Trudeau while he was in office, told The U.S. Sun. 'Justin has been single for a while and has enjoyed getting to know her. He likes her personality, and they are two people who really enjoy chatting about different topics, and they click very well so far, as they are going to see each other again very soon.' Trudeau reportedly picked up the tab, which included lobster and cocktails, before showing their gratitude to the kitchen staff. The source says that although any hopes of keeping the dinner date under wraps were dashed, the 53-year-old politician doesn't regret anything. He is a single man, so is on the market and ready to start something new with a woman after a few rough moments after splitting from his wife,' continued the well-placed source. 'He is feeling that talking to her and getting to know her is very refreshing, like a breath of fresh air in his life. He was happy to connect with her so well, and that she appreciates him being a normal, respectful person who was very understanding of her recent separation with Orlando Bloom. 'He isn't the kind of guy that would rush things, and she seems to enjoy that a lot. It's a gentlemanly way to behave.' The second source, who also worked closely with Trudeau while he was the Canadian PM, claimed the pair had been waiting to meet up 'for a while' and that Perry agreed 'very quickly.' 'Justin isn't shy about his romantic life, and he took her on a date, and he was very, very excited to do so and kept talking about it in the last few days,' added the friend. 'He feels like a young adult again, he is very excited about the process so far, and he really enjoys to get to know her and to talk about many, many topics with her.
