Hoover is back with another spring clean deal that's slashed £140 off one of its leading vacuum cleaners, reducing it to more than half price. The Hoover's HF9 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner With Anti Hair Wrap can now be picked up for £109 – down from £249 – using the discount code POWERFUL.
This marks a 56% drop and a £60 saving compared to Amazon's asking price (£169) and Shark's Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum (£169). Hoover touts its HF9 as the 'ultimate home cleaning appliance', claiming it has 'double the suction power' compared to some rival brands.
The vacuum is designed to handle both carpet and hard floors, with its brush bar capable of adapting to different surfaces with its Hard Floor and Carpet modes. These allow the brush bar to spin slower on delicate surfaces and faster on carpets to remove deeply embedded dirt, while the extra-powerful Turbo Boost setting provides up to 12 minutes of stronger suction.

The vacuum's durable battery can operate for 30 minutes continuously – enough to clean 120sqm – without losing suction and takes 3.5 hours to fully charge. Hoover is taking on Shark's anti hair wrap and Dyson's de-tangling with its own 'Anti-Twist' technology, which automatically removes hair from the brush bar as it cleans, reports The Mirror.
The lightweight vacuum can also be easily converted to a handheld device, allowing easy cleaning of stairs, sofas or car interiors. Other standout features include LED lights in the brush head to illuminate any hard-to-see dirt, the freestanding 'Park and Go' feature and a five-year warranty on purchases made direct from vacuum.

Hoover's latest deal sees its HF9 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner reduced by £140 with the discount code POWERFUL.
This deal is £220.99 cheaper than Dyson's 4.4-star rated V8 Advanced (£329.99) – said to be the 'most powerful V8 ever' – but that model boasts a slightly longer 40-minute run time. However, the Hoover HF9 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner With Anti Hair Wrap has a higher 4.6-star rating from 838 reviews – 773 of which are four or five stars.
One satisfied customer said: "Best vacuum I've ever had. Great suction, better than a Dyson or Shark. I have just bought one for my mother, and my sister received hers today, we all love it."
Another added: "I cannot fault this. The design and quality of material is excellent compared to my Miele which cost twice as much. I especially like its height and anti hair wrap.
