Seal found with ropes and nets around neck is nursed back to health
A seal has been released back into the wild months after she was found tangled up in netting and ropes.
The mammal was spotted "lethargic and exhausted" on Horsey Gap beach on March 22.

She was taken to the RSPCA centre at East Winch, near King's Lynn, where staff carefully freed her from the items and nursed her back to health by feeding her lots of fish soup and salt.

The charity confirmed last week that Buffalo had gained enough strength to be taken back to the beach.

A spokeswoman for the centre said: "We are ecstatic to announce that Buffalo is back where she belongs!
"Thank you to Friends of Horsey Seals for catching and transporting her to our centre and then helping us see her off into the ocean.

"Buffalo has been with us since the beginning of the year, taking a lot of time and dedication from our vets and staff to help her recover from her injuries and infections caused by entanglements.
"Please remember not to use flying rings at the beach as seals can get their heads stuck in them which can lead to gruesome and even fatal injuries."
