Close your eyes! - London restaurant launch Guinness Milkshake in 'world first'
A London burger joint is said to have launched a 'world first' and Guinness drinkers need to be warned, this could cause offence.
Black Tap based in SoHo, London, have launched a Guinness milkshake, combining a half pint of the beloved stout with cream, chocolate and cake.

A half pint of the stout is blended with soft-serve ice-cream and put into a glass with chocolate sauce and a frosted vanilla rim with white chocolate chips.
The beverage is topped with a generous helping of whipped cream with the Guinness CrazyShake going a step further and featuring a brownie and slice of Guinness Cake on top.
The shakes launched in the restaurants which have bases in Soho and Stratford last week and are understood to be a limited time only special. View this post on Instagram

Black Tap is a New York City eatery which opened its first location in the United Kingdom last November, followed by their Stratford location which opened earlier in 2025.
The burger restaurant is known for its New-York style burger, craft beers and CrazyShake milkshakes, but have they gone a bit too far with a Guinness milkshake?
Social media food review Hot Dinners shared a glimpse at the Guinness CrazyShake, revealing that the insane shake was an 'official collab' between Black Tap and Guinness. They advised: 'We might suggest sharing it between two people as we were ultimately defeated by the cake, but if you love your Guinness you just know you're going to have to give this a try.'
Social media users have had their say on the wacky shake with one person branding it 'absolutely criminal,' and another noting you 'would be arrested in Ireland for that.'
Others were more on board with the idea with someone commenting on a review that they 'need to try this place just wow.'
Would you try the Guinness Milkshake?
