A POPULAR buffet chain has revealed plans to open a brand new branch in a Scots city.
Hot World Cuisine already operates a successful venue on Paisley Road in Glasgow, with over 300 dishes on offer.

Hot World Cuisine could take over Locavore on Dalry Road

Now, restaurant chiefs have set their sights on the former site of organic shop Locavore on Dalry Road, Edinburgh.
An application to construct the venue was given the green light in March 2025.
Hot World Cuisine Glasgow said: "We've got exciting news – our brand-new Edinburgh site is officially in the works.
"While things have been slightly delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, construction is well underway, and we're aiming for a September opening.
"This is set to be our biggest and best buffet yet – more flavours, more space, and even more of your favourites from around the world.
"We truly appreciate your patience and support, and we can't wait to welcome you through the doors very soon.
"Keep your eyes peeled for more sneak peeks and official launch updates."
The chain describes itself as "Scotland's biggest and best world buffet".
It offers cuisines from across the globe, including Indian, Chinese, Italian and grill options, as well as a selection of desserts and drinks.
On its website, Hot World Cuisine said: "Embark on a gastronomic adventure as you explore a feast of international delights, all meticulously prepared using the freshest and finest ingredients.

In its application, the company proposed that the restaurant will introduce approximately 20 full time and part time jobs.
It added that the Gorgie/Dalry site will enhance "the 20-minute neighbourhood by providing a local service, which sources its ingredients locally and will stimulate local businesses".
Hot World Cuisine Edinburgh will be located at 118 - 126 Dalry Road.
