Mahua Moitra, Pinaki Misra host wedding reception in Delhi, leaders share pics
Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra and former Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Pinaki Misra hosted their wedding reception in Delhi on Tuesday evening. The event, attended by well-wishers and political leaders across parties, took place at Hotel Lalit and came a few months after the couple's quiet wedding in reception saw the presence of several political figures, including Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, who was photographed seated with Rajya Sabha MP Ranjeet Ranjan. Guests were seen exchanging greetings and sharing conversations over Party's Virendra Singh, who represents Chandauli and is part of the INDIA bloc, posted photos from the reception. 'Attended the reception of TMC MP Mahua Moitra ji and former MP Pinaki Misra ji at Hotel Lalit. I wish them a happy married life,' he said on X. Big congratulations,' she wrote on from the event show the couple receiving guests with smiles and folded known for her outspoken views in Parliament, married Misra earlier this year in a private ceremony in Germany on May 3. A short video of the two dancing to the classic Raat Ke Humsafar surfaced online last month, offering a rare glimpse into the intimate Misra, a senior advocate and former MP from Odisha's Puri, has served multiple terms in the Lok Sabha. Mahua Moitra, Pinaki Misra Host Wedding Reception. Here's Who All Attended
Leaders from across the political spectrum gathered in the national capital on Tuesday to participate in the wedding reception of Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra and former Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Pinaki Misra. The event at Hotel Lalit came a little over two months after the couple got married at a private ceremony in Germany on May 30. At the Delhi reception, Ms Moitra was spotted in a red saree with golden embroidery and traditional gold jewellery. Mr Misra was dressed in a classic white traditional outfit with a red embroidered border. Photos shared on social media showed Ms Moitra and Mr Misra greeting attendees and receiving blessings from colleagues and friends. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was seated at the dinner table with Rajya Sabha member Ranjeet Ranjan, among others.
