Megan Moroney walked the 2025 ACM Awards red carpet in slinky yellow dress The country music singer told PEOPLE that the gown was inspired by Kate Hudson's iconic yellow look in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days Despite the movie's 2003 release, Moroney revealed that she watched the film for the first time recentlyMegan Moroney is channeling an early aughts style moment at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The country music artist, 27, arrived at the 2025 ACM Awards in Frisco, Texas, on May 8 and walked the red carpet in a nod to one of the 2000s most beloved romcoms. Moroney attended the event in a slinky yellow satin one-shoulder gown by Cult Gaia that draped elegantly along her frame, plus a dazzling yellow diamond necklace. She wore her blonde hair parted down the middle in soft, beachy waves. The "Tennessee Orange" singer exclusively told PEOPLE on the ACM Awards red carpet that the gown was inspired by Kate Hudson as Andie Anderson in the 2003 movie, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. "The vibe is obviously Kate Hudson [and] Andie Anderson. I just watched the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days a couple of months ago for the first time," Moroney said. The country artist continued, "I'm not a big movie watcher, but I didn't know I was missing out on such a great movie. I've been kind of obsessed with it, and I just wanted to wear yellow and I thought it'd be cute." Moroney is nominated for two awards, including album of the year and female artist of the year. She is also set to perform during the ceremony, and revealed during her PEOPLE interview that she's set to perform "Stupid Boy" in a tribute to Keith Urban. "Since college, I've enjoyed styling myself and helping my friends pick out outfits. During my first few years as an artist in Nashville, I was completely self-styled." On Hulu's red carpet livestream, she called the look 'very blue and very sparkly.' She styled the look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, statement rings and a bedazzled custom Edie Parket clutch. Her blonde hair was kept in voluminous and fluffed-out waves. A royal blue manicure completed the look. The color scheme was seemingly a nod to her latest album, which was released last July. "With the drama of the red dress, I wanted to go full classic Hollywood glam with my hair in smooth waves, fresh glowy skin and a bold lip," the 'Tennessee Orange' singer told PEOPLE. Last year, on Moroney's Am I Okay? Tour, her stage looks mostly consisted of short dresses with flouncy skirts and cowboy boots. Kylie and Jason Kelce welcome fourth child into the world
Kylie Kelce has given birth to her fourth child. The 33-year-old podcaster and her husband Jason Kelce welcomed daughter Finnley Anne, a sister for Wyatt, five, Elliotte, four, and two-year-old Bennett, into the world on Sunday (30.03.25). The couple took to Instagram to share a series of photos of the newborn, including a close up of the tot being swaddled and wearing a large pink and blue bow in her hair, one of her resting on her side, and one of each parent holding the latest edition to their family. The post was captioned: "Whoop, there she is! "Finnley 'Finn' Anne Kelce "3/30/25 (sic)" Just a few weeks ago, Kylie - who announced her pregnancy in November - revealed she was considering calling the baby Andie in honour of Kate Hudson's character in 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days'. Speaking to Kate on her own 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast, Kylie said: "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of my favourite movies of all time, but absolutely my favourite rom-com. "We've even considered Andie as a name for our fourth girl. "Our first is Wyatt, our second is Elliotte, our third is Bennett. We were like, 'Andie would fit in there, and it would be so cool." Kylie also revealed that she knows another couple who choose the same moniker for their child and has found it to be a "bada**" name. She said: "They said that they named their daughter Anderson, as in Andie Anderson, and call her Andie. It's so bada***." The 'Almost Famous' star approved of the name She said: "Andie would be so cute. "It's a great name. I love that." Kylie felt it was probably too late to opt for a "girly" name for her fourth child and felt her other three kids would question such a move. She said: "If we do a full commit to a girly name at this point, it would not sit well with the other three. "I think eventually, they'll be like, 'Why did they get a cute girly name?'" Kylie recently revealed that she wanted a fourth child because she likes "even" numbers. She said: "I really like even numbers. "We got three, and I was like, 'Three's cool. This feels good. "Then we got out of the rough baby sleeping and all that, and I was like, 'You know what, I like even numbers, let's do it.'"

Speaking on Thursday's (06.03.25) episode of her 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast, she said: "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of my favourite movies of all time, but absolutely my favourite rom-com. The 'Almost Famous' star approved of the name She said: "Andie would be so cute. "It's a great name. I love that." Kylie thinks it is probably too late to opt for a name typically associated with girls at this point, and thinks her other three would question such a move. She said: "If we do a full commit to a girly name at this point, it would not sit well with the other three. "I think eventually, they'll be like, 'Why did they get a cute girly name?'" The podcaster - who found fame when her brother-in-law Travis Kelce started dating pop megastar Taylor Swift - recently revealed that she wanted a fourth child because she likes "even" numbers. She said: "I really like even numbers. "We got three, and I was like, 'Three's cool. This feels good. Kate Hudson reveals why sex is better than ever in her 40s
Kate Hudson has shared the reason why her sex life has improved with age. The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star, 45, revealed things are now way better in the bedroom than they were in her 20s or 30s. Hudson is engaged to musician Danny Fujikara, who she welcomed a child with in 2018. She also shares a six-year-old with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and her eldest with The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson. Speaking to Bustle to promote her forthcoming comedy series, Running Point, alongside Max Greenfield, Justin Theroux, Jay Ellis and Toby Sandeman, Hudson revealed the nugget of wisdom. 'Best part about sex in your 40s, honestly, is the freedom,' she said. 'Sex isn't supposed to be pretty…and I think that when you get older you kind of have more fun with that.' Elsewhere in the interview, Hudson admitted she can't help but flirt with everyone but thinks Fujikawa, 38, 'can handle' that side of her personality. 'I'm the biggest flirt on the planet. So I think anybody who's ever been with me is very aware that I flirt with everybody - girls, boys,' she said. 'Thank God Danny is my partner. He can handle this. I met the right guy,' the star added. It comes after Hudson recently shared how her ex-husband Robinson helped her feel unconditionally loved. Hudson and Robinson were married from 2000 to 2007 and share their 19-year-old son, Ryder. 'Chris completely opened that floodgate for me forever,' she said. 'No matter how complicated the relationship got at one point, the most important moment for me was meeting him, and him allowing me to understand what that felt like.' The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star later dated Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, with whom she shares 11-year-old son Bingham Hawn Bellamy. The pair were engaged in 2011 but ended their relationship in 2014. Hudson is currently engaged to Fujikawa, who she met through her good friends and The World's First Podcast hosts Sara and Erin Foster. They have been engaged since September 2021 and share their four-year-old daughter Rani Rose. In December, the daughter of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson revealed why she hasn't started planning her wedding to Fujikawa yet. Speaking on ITV's This Morning, Hudson said she wasn't sure about what type of wedding she wanted to have, pondering: 'I go back and forth, I go: 'Do I really want a big wedding?' We're so happy. It's not the first thing I need. 'It's not really the golden ticket…a wedding. And we also don't know where we're gonna do it. But it will happen.'

Kate Hudson's Newest Comedy Has A Release Date, But Fans Can't Stop, Won't Stop Comparing It To How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days turns 22 on January 27th, and to this day, it's one of Kate Hudson's best roles. Year after year, fans flock to one of the best romantic comedies of all time and compare her new roles to her beloved character, Andie Anderson, frequently. Even Hudson holds a special place in her heart for the film, choosing to recreate an iconic scene while attending a World Series game in 2024. It seems the trend will continue in 2025, as fans have already started comparing her new sports comedy series, Running Point, to the beloved rom-com classic. The sports comedy series will make its debut on the 2025 TV schedule on February 27th for those who have a Netflix subscription. In it, Hudson plays Isla Gordon, the overlooked daughter of a family with deep ties to an LA basketball franchise. When a scandal leads to her brother's resignation, Isla finds herself thrust into the corporate side of basketball. The ten-episode series will test Isla as she sets out to prove that she deserves the president position in the male-dominated industry and her family. Hudson will be joined by The Other Two star Drew Tarver, Suite Life of Zack and Cody alum Brenda Song, Chet Hanks, and beloved New Girl actor Max Greenfield. However, neither the powerhouse cast nor Mindy Kaling's created credit has distracted How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days fans from immediately drawing parallels between the characters of Isla and Andie. Instagram User @andrea__lynch was the first to point out the connection to the beloved rom-com, commenting on the announcement: This is giving Andie Anderson vibes and I'm here for it 😍 She's not wrong in drawing the comparison. After all, Andie is a massive basketball fan in the early aughts romantic comedy. Though unlike Isla, who will be invested in a presumed fictional LA team, Andie is a die-hard New York Knicks fan. Once the similarity was called out, though, other fans chimed in, including the official account for Kaling's media company, who wrote: Andie, you will always be famous @timothydenis_ even took it a step further, noting that maybe this was Andie's next big career move: How to loose a guy in ten days sequel ? And if this were really a How to Lose a Guy sequel (which it's not but it's fun to dream), @virgcm's fantastic comment would hit the nail on the head: It's giving Andie Anderson and Benjamin Barry opened their own firm… Sadly, Matthew McConaughey will not be in this show. However, the Andie Anderson vibes 100% seem like they will be. The official announcement, which was shared by co-creator Mindy Kaling and Kaling's media company, also included a handful of first-look images, each highlighting one member of the cast. However, it was the fourth photo in the carousel that caught the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days fan's attention. In it, Hudson is wearing a red carpet-worthy white, halter-style dress and is smiling beside an equally stylish Greenfield. One might think fans would be gushing about the pair, but Instagram User @courtneywalkup had other thoughts, commenting: The white dress is SO How to Lose a Guy Honestly, I found myself having to do a double take because Hudson really does look like she's channeling Andie in the dress. Ironically, the statement dress in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days is actually yellow, but the similarities in material and style are definitely there. This very much could be a mature adult version of Andie if she decided to give up her journalism career to become a basketball franchise president. The series comes at the perfect time as sports comedy fans are still trying to find a show to fill the void left behind when Ted Lasso Season 3 ended. It also might help distract everyone from the news that Netflix is raising its subscription prices again. All I know is that I'll definitely be logging onto the streaming service on February 27th to check this show led by Kate Hudson out.
