Huawei Cloud Propels Singapore Enterprises from Cloud Adoption to Intelligent Leap, Forging Industry Pioneers

Where Technology Innovation Meets Business Needs Intelligence is now an established trend and a core driver for enterprise innovation and growth. While many customers have embraced cloud, the proliferation of SaaS tools has often led to data silos. The key challenge in the intelligent era is how to more effectively leverage the data accumulated on the cloud. Huawei Cloud Hong Kong and PolyU Sign MoU
Fostering an Integrated Innovation Platform to Empower Research Start-ups to Go Global HONG KONG, June 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei Cloud Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Huawei's Bantian Campus in Shenzhen. The partnership will deepen collaboration in research collaboration, technology commercialisation, start-up incubation, and global innovation ecosystems. It aims to fast-track PolyU's research industrialisation and globalisation while building an integrated platform to drive academic-industrial innovation across Asia-Pacific and beyond. Huawei hosted its Cloud Fintech Summit Egypt 2025 in Cairo on Monday, focusing on advancing Egypt's digital transformation in the financial technology sector through secure, high-performance local cloud infrastructure. The summit was held under the theme: 'Huawei Cloud: Becomes Egypt's Premier Fintech Partner with a Local, High-Performance Cloud." It brought together Fintech companies, startups, and technology providers to explore ways to accelerate growth, innovation, and digitalization in the country's financial sector. During the event, Huawei Cloud showcased its latest cloud-based solutions to support financial institutions and startups, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI), big data, database management, and cybersecurity compliance. The company emphasized its commitment to strengthening Egypt's Fintech ecosystem by offering cloud services tailored to local needs. Moreover, Huawei has previously supported startups in Egypt through initiatives like Flexus, a next-generation cloud computing suite launched at Cairo ICT 2024.
